(Chris, Skylar, and Dante enter from Gear Savana)
Chris and his team entered last. After a moment of adjusting to the warmer temperature of the place Chris started to walk around a bit. He finally found the others and sat down.
Skylar was right behind Chris and noticed something he was avoiding looking a Marq for some reason. "Something wrong?" He asked.
Chris was suprised by Skylar "huh..no I'm fine don't worry about it" He said. To be honest he was feeling bad he had just watched something happen to an old friend of his and he had been helpless to stop it if anything he made matters worse. He felt horrible he thought he should have been able to help. He sighed and looked down awaiting the next move.

"What..." Marq's eye began to twitch as Destin continued to bounce and call, breaking his concentration. He opened one eye to look at the bouncing fur ball, "I was trying to concentrate... what do you want?!"
"Sometin is here..." Destin's shifitng eyes looked around the jungle, stopping and staring in one direction and then changing to another direction.
"He's right." Hiro spoke with eyes closed. He could easily pick up the sounds that were coming from the deep parts of the forest.

Chris looked at the digimon and frowned "Heh just when we thought the worst was over" He said. He looked at Leomon "Looks like it's time to power up seeing as Leomon, Skylar, and Guile are the only digimon who are ready I say lets get ready" He said. He held up his digivice "Digivolution Activate" He said. It was strange he somehow knew it would work even without his digivolution card.
Skylar smirked as he felt his energy grow "Biyomon digivolve to....Birdramon!" He said. He let out a roar as he digivolved. "Seeing as how we're in the jungle I think all three of us have good odds of success" He said.

"Hey . . . Chris was it? Don't you think its a bad idea to make your Biyomon evolve right now? I feel something in the woods, if you let him change shape you'll make our group stand out quite a bit. . . I don't think we wanna make ourselves a target right about now."Plus with wings like those if your not careful you'll burn this whole forest down~"

Chris shook his head "No, last time we were unprepared and paid for it...Dante may never be the same...but this time I'm going to be ready" He said. He gave them not a look of anger but a look of worry. He didn't want to suffer like that again. He then looked at Skylar and watched as he landed as they waited for what ever it was to show.

??? ??? Shadows shifted and moved quickly around the boys and their digimon. There were ruffles in spots of the wood and then a flutter of digi-birds. All of quiet for a brief moment.

Jericho began to stroke his dirty blonde hair as he looked aroung anxiously, awaiting whatever was around the corner. He reached into his pocket with fierce determination for his handgun. . . before realizing he had replaced it with a pendulum progress. . . Right. . .no matter what this thing is, I have to face it like everyone else, otherwise I won't be a real tamer. The young man held his ground and took a deep breath, staring into the woods for what may approach.
Guile sniffed the air getting rather curious as his eyes blinked multiple times. His tail curled in and out as he began to ponder of what it could be. A dragon digimon? a beast digimon? food? he scratched his chin before he realized. . . he wished it was the latter.
The young man spun his digital pet toy in his hand as he reached for a leather satchel which hung from the back of his belt. He lifted the top part out, ready to draw cards at any moments notice.

??? ??? "Looks like we have guest..." "Should we greet them?" "We'll see..."
Shadows began to moves through the forest, circling around the tamers and their digimon. "The humans look good enough to eat..." "Brother, you should try to contain the feral instincts..." "I was only joking..." "It would seem that one of us is with them..." "I wonder which sorry sap broke first..." The shadows stopped their movements and continued to look down at the boys.

Chris and Skylar frowned as they saw how close the shadows were. "Hold on Skylar we wont be scared that easily" He said. He then reached into his pocket and pulled out a few cards. "Skylar be ready something tells me their not friendly" He said.

Jericho spun his red and gold "PenProg" in his hand, not touching his card satchel yet. He would have to estimate his opponents' power before selecting his weapons of choice. That was the way of the Tamer.
Guile stood up on the balls of his feet, sniffing the air as his eyes peered around his surroundings.

Hiro chuckled to himself knowing who is was and what to expect... sort of. He looked to Chris and then to Jericho and then back to Chris, "So quick to jump the gun are we. I hope you're ready."
Marq picked up Destin and stood close to Hiro, looking around for more movement.
"Grrrr...." he growled his is eyes shifted.

Chris looked at Leomon "from what I've seen they don't wait long to attack and the last few times we were unprepared" He said. He stepped back and waited "What too scared to show yourselves" He said. He wondered who they were. He then looked at Marq "You alright Marq?" He asked.

"Ssh . . . quiet Chris. Never provoke the enemy. We don't know who they are, or how they act. If we provoke them we could end up in a worse situation than merely being detected. . ." said the young man as he held his penprog to his forehead. Trying to comprise strategy.
Guile was completely lost in thought. His bright and cheery personality melted away as he stood in a regal stance. This was his alter ego, the true Rojo de Decimo. As he bent to the ground, he sniffed the soft turf around him before speaking in a tact yet mature voice. "The enemy has surrounded us, its only a matter of seconds before contact."

"sad..." Movement began again and there was a distinct ringing noise like the sound of wings. In a flash of light trees came crashing down on the team, as if sliced up some unseen blade. ------------------------------------- Hiro instinctively scooped up Marq and Destin, moving out of the way of the trees. He quickly unsheathed hid glaive and sliced a approaching tree, making room for him to jump through.

Chris shook his head angrilly "Call me what you like but I've had enough of this crap" He said. He then saw the tree's fall. He was suprised to see Skylar cover him and then burn the tree's that landed on them. "Your dead got that we'll take you out like we did the last ones. You'll pay for what happened to Dante you hear me!" He said. "Digimodify Patamon activate" He said. Instantly Birdramon's power grew. He then climbed on him. "You ready to end this" He asked.
Skylar nodded and stretched his wings "Show yourselves or I'll burn the place down" He said. He glared at the shadows aroumd them ominously. He looked back at Chris who still held Dante.
