Kyo soon heard Giki-san's even breathing and deduced that the junior was asleep. Well, since the incident that happened at school, that sleep was pretty much well-deserved. Smiling, Kyo stayed where he was until finally he, too, fell asleep.

The next morning, Gikishou heard the faint beeping of the alarm clock and wondered why it was so far away, then remembered that he'd fallen asleep on the couch with Kyo. He yawned and set Kyo down, going up and turning off the alarm clock before coming back and kissing Kyo lightly to wake him up. "Time to get ready for school."

Kyo heard a familiar voice and opened his eyes, surprised to see that the day was brighter. Apparently, it was actually the next day, since Giki-san had mentioned that it was time for school. Had they slept all through the night?

Gikishou smiled and kissed his forehead, nuzzling him. "I'll make breakfast." He said, going into the kitchen and making some omelettes for the two of them.

Kyo nodded and walked upstairs for the usual morning routine before heading back down. It was very hard to believe that he and Giki-san had been asleep until morning. He had thought it would be just a little nap.

Hee had the omelettes ready and put one on Gikishou's plate happily. He was glad for the extra rest, since now he was more energetic than he remembered in... well... ever!

When Kyo walked downstairs, he smelled am aroma that undoubtedly came from the kitchen. Entering that room, he took his seat and began to wonder about the energetic atmosphere.

Gikishou smiled and gave him a nice clean fork and sat down with his own, eating happily. Today just felt good to him, and he was glad for it. He was glad that he didn't feel an ounce of worry about today, which could mean that, for once, their lives wouldn't be interrupted by something.

Soon after Giki-san handed him the fork, Kyo ate his omelette. As expected of the junior's cooking, the omelette was delicious. Something told him that today was just going to be an actually normal day, if it doesn't turn out to be a good day.

Gikishou smiled and ate his own, driving to school with him and walking him to his first class. Gikishou's first period had a substitute, who let them read quietly. Gikishou drew a few pictures, all incredibly detailed.

All through first period, Kyo stared out the window. Today was just a work day, which meant no lessons, and since he was finished with his homework there was nothing else he could do except stare out the window. The day was nice and sunny, and the green grass and changing trees only added to the beauty of the outside.

The day progressed normally for gikishou, and everything went without incident. It felt nice, for things to go smoothly without some form of event happening to put one of them in danger. Then there was announcement. "Just in, there is going to be a dance next weekend in the gym, come alone or with a date, it's your choice. Tickets are only five dollars each." Gikishou smiled as he listened. He wondered if Kyo would go with him to the dance.

The day had gone by as any day should be, at least until the announcements came on. There was going to be a dance coming up in the next weekend. Usually, Kyo didn't bother going to any social gatherings such as dances, but he was sure Giki-san was going to invite him to the dance, so maybe going to this dance would be okay.

Gikihsou smiled as the day ended, quickly finding kyo. "Hi Kyo~" He greeted cheerily, taking his hand. He suddenly became nervous. "so... about the dance... will you go with me?" He asked, smiling. Something felt like... it was important that they should go together. Maybe that was where the decision would be made.

Immediately and without hesitation, Kyo nodded. "Sure, I'll go with you," he said with a smile. "I was actually thinking about it a little while ago, and I thought that maybe going to my first dance with you would be fun."
