Lil-Jo Lil-Jo Well, we are about a month away from the closing on the new house. Thomas talked to a home buyer that will come out on Monday to see what he will offer us. At this point I will be happy with any offer as long as we can pay off our mortgage and have enough to give to the movers. Well, the home buyer did not pan out.. he offered us $35,000 less than what we owe... Think we are screwed I am so sorry you are having such a terrible time Lil-Jo. I don't know why some people's mentality is a "I want something for nothing" (meaning they don't want to pay you what it is really worth) so much these days....I'm praying for you guys. My co-worker finally did ~ her & hubby broke about even on it, but it took a few offers before they find the one. *Hugs*

Has anyone heard of St. Joseph and the selling of homes???
Well, I buried St. Joseph today... I have 2 friends that keep telling me to bury him in the front yard, upside down and facing the house. Then say the prayer, and he will help us sell our house. I read all the links my friends sent me, went out and picked up St. Joe, and followed all the instructions... That and we reduced the house $20,000 today... now it is $30,000 under market value... and we are offering a quick closing. I am hoping for a sale now... We are hoping that the fact that we want a closing before the end of next month will appeal to the people that want to move in before school starts and get their kids settled... and with 5 bedrooms, we believe the house is best suited for a larger family.

My mom gave me some blessed wheat and told me to put it around the 4 corners of the property, I did it, but the house hasn't sold yet. It's been on the market for 9 months now, I've even dropped the price but still no offers. My parents are both in a nursing home and I have to sell this damn house to pay off their bills , It's really stressing me out. I'm about to lower the price again. So far my prayers haven't been answered......I'll just keep trying and waiting and hoping.

I don't know about the prayer part ~ when she told us about it, she was like "Yeah, right, uh-huh" rolleyes But she planted it anyway, figuring what harm could it do, and it'd make the guy happy if she did. And then the they sold the house within about a week ninja We were all a bit weirded out by it. sweatdrop
