AandOE Sugar Dhaku Indeed. I think it'd have to be a Fuuinjutsu-based clan, where the act of putting on masks does things because of seals made on the masks. I've yet to draw up anything. It is still a mental process. Also, what is this "Maruton"? I consider myself quite knowledgeable of the Naruto universe, but I have never heard of it. Unless it is a different translation of something. And...uh...I suppose it would count. Not sure yet.

According to the databooks, Utakata is a Sharingan-based Genjutsu, just using a different medium.

of course when I set it up when he attacked before he even stated he was using a genjutsu i had a clone out and was hidden and when I attacked him he says I wa sin it before we even started to fight thats no way to rp, I dont care now to much I can allways instant heal my self with my medical jutsu if I had to, what concerns me is hes a ninjutsu user and using genjutsu as a main form of attack thats just wrong

leafninja.com reports Utakata in the Genjutsu section, non-related to Sharingan. If it was related, they would have listed it with all of the other Sharingan jutsus. Narutopedia suggests no link as well.

Maru means zero, and ton is added to make it release, or whatever.
So, it's decoratively, "Zero Release".
Also, I'd like to have Ephemeral changed into an Uchiha online genjutsu.
Aoe, for the time being, would you please make note of it that only those with the Sharingan may learn it?
When the time comes that I fix up the Sharingan's listing, I'll list it there as well...

'Maru' equates to 'nothingness' as well as a few other translations, based upon how it's used. ^_^ I chose it rather than the 2 other variants due to its simplicity.
As for Utakata, I'm just following what was released as Canon data, & the speculation surrounding it. Updating its definition to reflect today's dispute... (for Shinsua)
