Corabell watched as her team flitted around the field, her senior players coping well with how active her beaters were being. Poor Lyall didn't seem to have expected the bludger he took, though. Oh, Elsie and Nicole did well managing the quaffle! Corabell nodded approvingly as Nicole managed to score a goal. Not bad for a firstie! "Nicole, good job! Lyall, get over here for a minute!" Corabell shouted across the field.

Honestly Alice was having no luck finding the snitch. In fact she probably would have given up if not for the fact it wasn't in her general nature. Scanning the field Alice was determined to find it. She found it before and besides if the first year could find it so could she.

Lyall flew around a bit more, then looked around when a goal was scored. After a minute, he heard his name being called. He noticed the captain, then nodded at her order to go nearer. Was he in trouble? Was he bleeding all over the place? He didn't feel bloody! He looked around a bit, then flew over, stopping close to the girl. "Yes ma'am?" He pushed his glasses up again, still wondering what she wanted him for. She didn't look angry, so maybe he wasn't in trouble. He'd never been in real trouble before!

Corabell smiled reassuringly. "Just hold still a moment," she said, pulling her wand. She cast a diagnostic charm first, to be sure of the damage done by the bludger, then followed that with a bone mending charm. "There you go. Believe it or not, you get better at coping with bludger hits eventually. Now get back out there," Corabell told the boy, tucking her wand back away and looking out over the rest of the players.

Lyall looked at the Captain, a curiosity in his eyes. She pulled out her wand and his eyes went wide, almost as if he didn't live in a place where magic was used all the time. She made him feel better, thus reestablishing his smile. She said he'd get better at taking Bludger hits, and he nodded solemnly. "Thank you, Miss Corabell! I feel much better now! I can keep trying, I'm sure! I'll figure it out." He grinned, looking eager to keep trying. He flew back toward the others, watching the scene before trying to join in.

Still looking around it seemed that Alice still couldn't find the snitch. Honestly what was wrong with her? Shaking her head Alice closed her eyes took a breath and opened them again. Hopefully she could find it soon.
