[Sirius Black-Snuffles]

Sirius swallowed hard and coughed.

"Yeah the lake..." he agreed as he started to walk with Remus still attatched to his arm.

He would hardly brand the lake "romantic" after all, he remembered enough to know that the lake is where they sat and fought with Snivellus, watched James drool over Lily, and pretty much acted like typical boys at boarding school.

At the last minute Sirius remembered the rest of the group. Almost halfway to the exit of the Great Hall he stopped and turned to beckon them along.

"Well, c'mon you lot! We're going...to the lake..." he called nearly squeaking on the last part.

Harry, wiping away tears of mirth, straightened up as much as was possible and grasped Kathryn by the arm, supporting her slightly. "I think they're trying to out flame each other," he said before starting in on another fit of giggles.

God...this was awful behavior for The Boy Who ******** 'em. Intent to drag Kathryn along for support, he followed the couple.

Tonks snickered, following behind Harry and Kathryn. "Gabriel! Malfoy! Lovegood! Move it or loose it!" she shouted back at the group. "We can't leave Remus and Sirius alone for too long, they may want to celebrate the honeymoon early."

She winked at Harry. "Not that they already haven't," she said with a smirk.

Lifted up my Harry she panted from the lack of oxygen from her fit of laughter. Leaning slightly on Harry so she wouldn't fall over she wiped her eyes with her fist.

"I think they're trying to out flame each other," Harry said. Kathryn bite her tongue trying not to emit enough a giggle.

"I know, it's a contest on who is the better faerie!" She added with a manic grin.  

[Ex-Professor Remus Lupin]

Remus ignored the others following them as they made their way to the lake. It was hard to keep up such ridiculous behavior, but he was going to. As Merlin as his witness, he was going to make sure Sirius remembered this night for the rest of his life.

"Isn't it lovely?" he chirped - god he was getting a headache doing this. "We really should do this more often sugar lips."

He contemplated for a moment where the hell he was pulling these horrendous nicknames from.

Gabriel grinned at Tonks and jumped up, following Sirius and Remus and the rest out of the hall towards the lake. He was excited. It would be fun to go to the lake in a group - like old times, but with new people.

He hugged Tonks briefly from behind before bouncing off. He was always bouncing somewhere. It was just how he moved around. He loved to be happy - and he couldn't help but show his elation.

"Is that old squid dead yet?" he wondered aloud as they made their way to the lake.

"Not yet," Tonks answered, leaving Kathryn and Harry and making her way over to Gabriel's side, doing an excellent impersonation of Remus, except without the loving stares and awful nicknames. "Of course, I don't think the lakes very romantic either, unless you and the squid are really close friends. Tentacle porn anyone?"

Sirius leaned down to whisper in Remus' ear.

"Remus, please, I get it ok? I'm sorry. It hurts me enough having to act that flamboyant, watching you--it makes me want to jump off the Astronomy tower. I'll make it up, please, just please stop it..." he pleaded quietly.

"And if Princess is as bad as 'Sugar Lips' I'll never call you it again," Sirius added shivering violently.

"I really don't want to know where you got that one from."

"Of course, I don't think the lakes very romantic either, unless you and the squid are really close friends. Tentacle porn anyone?"

Gabriel shuddered. "Nope, not really my style, y'know?" he answered as they drew nearer. He smiled goofily. "Forgive me for this, love, but I have the undeniable urge." Before Tonks could respond, he picked her up and swung her around in a circle before setting her lightly on her feet and continuing on as though nothing had happened, whistling cheerfully as he went.

Tonks squeaked in surprise as Gabriel lifted her bodily off her feet. She had been completely unprepared for that. Returning to the ground, she watched Gabriel in surprise as he strode off. With a grin, she caught up with him, catching his arms once more. "You're pretty strong for a boy," she said, smirking gently at him.

"i'll have you know that I'm no boy. I can legally drink these days," he said with a amused smile. His smile turned a bit sly as he continued in a still light and obvious joking tone, "And I should be strong. You're heavy, you realize. Have you been gaining weight?"

He ruffled his friend's hair affectionately and some part of his brain was telling him that she was probably going to smash his head in for what he said, but he wasn't going to take it back.

(Awww, het. Also, HK said I could, so I'm taking control of Sirius briefly for this post. He won't say anything, but I am going to make him walk.)

Remus chuckled, checking back to see what everyone else was doing. Harry and Kathryn were giggling nearby and Tonks and Gabriel were - doing exactly what they were doing - except it was far more convincing. Bloody straight people.

"Don't ever call me Princess again," he said cheerily, tugging Sirius until the other man followed him until they were standing under the beech tree beside the edge of the lake.

Checking once more that none of the others were watching, he turned back to Sirius and with a growl, shoved Sirius back into the trunk of the tree, claiming his mouth fiercely. Pulling back a moment later, he glared, "You unmitigated b*****d, leading Luna Lovegood on like that."

Another heated kiss.

"I should kill you," he pulled from the next kiss, panting. "But I won't. Instead, I'm going to walk right back over to the rest of the group and leave you here."

Wrenching Sirius forward into another kiss, he made sure this one last several moments longer, before pulling back slowly. Then, with a smirk, he released Sirius' shirt and walked back over to Harry and Kathryn.

"So, now that we're done with that bit of insanity, care to skip rocks?" he asked.

Regaining her composure she watched Gabriel and Tonks 'play' for a while, as it was rather entertaining to see a grown man bound along like a rabbit. Smiling she looked over to see where Remus and Sirius were, to find them in a very heated kiss. She hastily raised her hand to the side of her face and looked in the other directions until she felt that a sufficient amount of time had passed.

"So, now that we're done with that bit of insanity, care to skip rocks?" Remus said who had appeared near her and Harry.

"Sure" She said with a grin. "Although, I must warn you, I might end up throwing a rock at something other than the lake"

[I actually had to call one of my friends to ask how she would respond to that. As a male, I take the whole fat thing a bit differently so I wanted Tonks' reaction to be a bit more real. Of course, my friend, being my friend, didn't help much.]

Tonks huffed, releasing Gabriel's arm and crossing them over her chest, trying to pull off highly offended. Then, rolling her eyes, she closed them, concentrating for a minute. "Better?" she asked. "I just made myself thinner for you."

Remus smiled. "Don't worry about it, I'm an expert," he said, showing Kathryn the way to the lake. "I used to do this with Sirius all the time after full moons."
