While they were at the French table, Kyo filled his plate with a few snails, keeping the rest of the plate empty so he could fill it with more different things. It wouldn't be a good idea to just fill a whole plate with snails anyway.

Gikishou smiled as they moved on to another cart, filling their plates up and heading back to the table, beginning to eat happily. Gikishou thought this was a good choice, eating at this restaurant.

Now that they have filled their plates, Kyo had almost immediately begun eating his snails. The incident of today had nearly completely gone from his mind, so he was very much relaxed.

Gikishou grinned as they both ate their food, sighing in contentment once he was finished. The bite mark didn't even seem to matter anymore as he closed his eyes for a moment. "That was good."

Kyo then paused when he heard a contented sigh. Everything seemed to return to normal, but he wanted to be sure. "Do you feel better now?" he asked Giki-san. "Have you calmed down?"

Gikishou smiled, nodding. "I feel a lot better now." He assured him, being honest. It became just another close call in his mind.

"That's nice to hear," Kyo said, glad that everything was okay now. Hopefully, they won't be bothered by anyone or anything for the rest of the week, but knowing how the whole week had been, he didn't have much hope.

Gikishou smiled and nodded. "The rest of the week will hopefully be uneventful, besides friday, but I'm not pinning too much hope on it." He said with a smile, ruffling his hair a bit. "I still can't thank you enough for getting there in time."He said, smiling.

"It isn't much compared to what you've done for me," Kyo admitted. "I'm just glad to finally be of help to you." Then a thought struck him. The former teacher was going to court, right? Then wouldn't the victims and witnesses have to go as the prosecuting group?

Gikishou, oblivious to the thought, chuckled and hugged him. "You always help me just by being here." He told him, paying for the food once they finished and walking out with him, an arm around him. He buckled him in and smiled, kissing him lightly.

Kyo was still a little worried, but perhaps he should stop thinking about it until the trial day comes. For all he knew, they probably wouldn't have to be part of the prosecutor group. They could just be left alone and going on with their lives.

Gikishou noticed as they pulled into the driveway, parking the car and turning to him, cupping his cheek. "What's wrong?" He asked gently.

"It's nothing," Kyo immediately replied. "Nothing at all. Let's just go inside, okay?" He didn't want to bring up the problem again. He was afraid that the now-regained calmness would disappear if he spoke out his worry.

Gikishou was hurt by how quickly he'd tried to play it off as nothing, but nodded and kissed his forehead. "Alright." He said, getting out and helping Kyo out of the car, holding his hand as they walked in.

Relieved that the junior hadn't persisted in getting the answer, Kyo followed Giki-san into the house. It was nowhere near dark yet, so maybe he should update that doujinshi. It's been about a day since he had continued that story.
