"Maybe that elf can come with us?" the shy elf asked the others, gesturing towards an elf scrubbing the floor.

Sophie was startled someone was actually referring to her. "Sophie would love to!" she exclaimed happily.

Wyla (the shy elf's name) runs over to Sophie, smiles, and grabs her hand. "C'mon! It will be fun! We can all cheer together."

"The more the merrier" Lumen said waving to Wyla.

Sophie jerked forward from the pull. She was happy for two reasons. One, she could come along, and two, the stain had just come out of the floor! She secretly preferred the Irish team, but would cheer for both teams.

In this way, Xanthe was actually surprized to see a great lack of Elves in the kitchens when she arrived. In fact, she was most shocked to see them filing out of the kitchens in mass! Perhaps they have been called to do cleaning? She thought, caching sight of the patronus messanger.

Sophie called to Xanthe, saying, "Going to watch Quidditch! Xanthe comes too!" before she walked out of the room.

In haste Xanthe nodded and followed them down to the Quidditch pitch, thinking how kind it was that her masters let the house elves participate and how she couldn't be happier for the transfer!

Katherine looked around the Hogwarts kitchen. It was her new home. Home... Not a word she had used often as her previous masters had moved around a lot. The thought of this castle being a permanent place of residence brought peace to her mind and heart. A fresh start for her and hopefully... the last fresh start she ever had to take.

"Looks like much has to be done in these kitchens..I'll start by washing the dishes!" Katherine said excitedly. After all, most house elves liked to clean. Katherine was no exception. She found it relaxing to clean. It cleared away bad thoughts and always helped her feel better.

"Uh...excuse me...." Xanthe asked as she was heading out the door. There was one more house elf transfer still working. She wondered if she was supposed to stay. "Master called the elves and said that Xanthe and other elves should go to the Quidditch pitch to watch. If Katherine wants to work Xanthe understands!" She added quickly. After all, Xanthe thought to herself, house elves is meant to work!

Katherine looked over and saw the other house elf calling her. "A Quidditch match? Katherine has never been to one...maybe Katherine will watch for a bit and return to cleaning!" Katherine's heart started racing like a child on Christmas morning. A Quidditch match was something she had always wanted to see. She wiped her hands on a cloth and left the kitchen following the other house elves.

"Katherine is back and ready to clean up! Much work has to be done." Katherine started off by washing the dishes. She was humming a happy tune and then began to clean stove tops and counters. "Katherine could get used to this," she said with a smile.

Annette looked up from what she was doing. "Annette will go with you! Annette would like to watch Mistress Noelle play." She said as she wiped her hands off on a cloth and followed the other elves.
