"Marcus huh? Never heard of him..." he lied. He looked down and killed a rock. "Nevertheless, you're tresspassing and that's a penalty worthy of deletion..." Eiji grinned, showing his teeth. He looked back as Mephistomon came up behind him. "But I happen to be in a good mood, so I'll let you get a head start in running away. Make it out of the city walls and I'll let you live."

Skylar looked at Chris "He's lying I can feel Marcus's digimon are nearby" He said. Chris nodded "I know" He said. He then glared at the man "Your lying and I never run I'm going to find my friend even if I have to beat you" He said. He then held out his digivice. "Activate Double Warp Digivolve" He said. Suddenly Skylar was consumed in light. When it faded he was Phoenixmon. Chris then held his hand out "Lets go Crimson Flames" He said. Skylar flapped his wings sending fire out. "Last chance where is Marcus!" He said.

"Qué idiota ..." he said under his breath. He tensed up for a moment and let loose his aura, shielding him from the flames. "Whatever you say... it's your funeral. Mephisto..."
The goat-headed demon charged into battle with a wicked smile on his face. "BLACK PLAGUE!!!" An blacken aura arose from around Mephistomon and moved to his hands. He then shot the aura in a series of black rays that would cause whatever it touched to decay and become infected.
"Phase one..." Reiji was taking a completely different approach towards this match, allowing Mephistomon to do as he was created, to attack strategically.
((I wanted a Mephistomon xD It's a beast demon))

Chris quickly held his digivice out "Activate Anti Virus" He said. Suddenly a shield formed over phoenixmon and made him more resistant to virus attacks. Chris then jumped onto Skylars back and then closed his eyes "Hold tight" Skylar said. He then quickly flew into the air. He then flapped his wings rapidly sending wind and debris at the digimon. Chris hoped Marcus was alright "Hold on Marcus I'll find you I promise" He said quietly.

Reiji pulled both of his hands up to cover from the kicked up debris. "Hmph... Persistent p***k. Fine then, we'll play your little game." Reiji reached in his pocket and pulled out a digivice. It was a green and purple d-tector. "What that?! This isn't mine..." Reiji charged dark digisoul in his hand, corrupting the digivice and then chucked it. "Hmph... now where his mine..." he reached in his pocket and pulled out his own digivice. "That's better, MEPHISTOMON!!! DIGIVOLVE!!!" He held his digivice up and allowed the Chaos soul to seep from it and flow into Mephistomon.
"MEPHISTOMON, SHINKA!!!!" The energy went inside of his body and caused him to flash violently and then grow several meters high to where he looked like a mountain in size. "GULFMON!!!" The digimon roared, sending a destructive shockwave towards Chris and Phoenixmon.

Chris is surprised to see Marcus's digivice and then seeing it become corrupted. "No!" He yelled he then glared at the enemy until it digivolved. The shockwave knocked them from the sky. They collapsed with a loud boom. Chris and Skylar forced themselves up although it was a bit shakily. He looked at the corrupted digivice. He pictured all of Marcus's digimon in pain "You monster! don't worry guys I'll save you" He said. He held his digivice up and his crest glowed brighter "Skylar lets show him what we're made of Holy digivolution slide!" He yelled. Suddenly Skylar was consumed in another bright light and Skylar digivolved into Seraphimon. Skylar stretched his arms. "I don't know who you think you are, but no one hurts my friends and gets away with it" He said. Skylar flew into the air. "You will be deleted there is no repentance for souls as black as yours" He said. He held his hands out "Seven Heavens!" He said as he fired the attack at him.

"HA!!! It was an empty piece of junk, I don't know why you're getting upset over it!!!" Reiji rolled his eyes when he remembered something. "Ya know, you remind me of some kid I fought a few days ago... He went on about the power of light and some other bullshit... I crushed him." Reiji showed his hand covered in dark soul. "And I'll do the same to you! GULFMON DESTROY HIM!!!!" He looked up at his giant digimon and smirked.
"GRRRAAAA!!!" He roared as he was it by the attacks. "Dead... Scream..." He opened his mouth and shot a large beam right at Seraphimon, the beam would be similar to that of a railgun, destroying all that it touched.

Chris shook his head "I'm not like that kid you faced I may have a lot of light in me but I am not afraid of the darkness in me" He said. He looked at Seraphimon "I guess you didn't know my name is Chris and I have the title Twilight Defender" He said declaring his title for the first time. "Now seraphimon golden wings then hand of faith" He said. Skylar quickly used his wings to block the attack although he still was hit. He then recovered and swung his fist firing a large holy blast. "You may think darkness is undefeatable but when faced with both light and darkness you shall fail" He said. He then held his hand out "Seven heavens" He said firing his attack again.

"Twilight Defender, eh? What a cute name... AND CUTE THINGS DESERVE TO DIE!!!! RAAAAAAA!!!!" the aura that was already flowing from Reiji began to intensify and with that so did it begin to affect Gulfmon. "TAKE THAT ANT-SIZED FAIRY OUT OF THE SKY!!!"
Gulfmon roared with a dark power that emited in his voice. The chaotic energy caused him to grow is size and power, becoming quite the giant. He then reached out with a large arm and swatted Seraphimon out of the air as if he were a fly. "SUPER DEAD SCREAM!!!" Gulfmon fired his high-powered beam once more, but this time the beam split into multiple rays that would zoom at Seraphimon.

Chris frowned "Skylar get out of there!" He said but he knew there was no way. Even if he were to defend himself there was no way it could take that much. Sadly when it crashed into him Skylar plummeted to the ground. "Skylar!" He yelled. Chris felt tears roll down his face before turning to Reiji. "You will pay!" He said his anger growing. He closed his eyes and felt his crest double in brightness. He visualized Marcus's digimon, Marcus, his digimon, Skylar, all of them needed him. He shook his head "You shall pay!" He yelled. He held his hand out and his own aura glowed over him and fired a blast at Reiji. He then clenched his digivice in his fist. "I wont lose anymore" He said. Suddenly Skylar glowed red and floated into the air "Seraphimon activate Burst Mode" Skylar said. He then changed into his burst mode. He then swung his arm "Twilight Eclipse!" He said. He then formed a large sphere in front of him which he then held over his head and threw as it flew it split into several lasers that flew in random patterns crashing into anything in their path.

Reiji eyes widened as the blast came at him. He quickly rolled out of the way and looked up at the angelic digimon. "You've got some nerve acting all righteous and mess!! WELL I'VE GOT NEWS FOR YOU, YOU DON'T KNOW s**t!!!!" Reiji got into a bracing position and allowed his aura to flow like crazy. At a close glance one would be able to see a black ooze dripping from under his blindfold. "No more... holding back." As he spoke, so did Gulfmon.
As the beams hit Gulfmon, he staggered back, but then there was a little movement in Gulfmon's lower region. In moments a mouth had opened up. "BLACK... REQUIEM!!!!" The lower mouth would then begin to suck up everything in front of him, including rocks and building remains. After a period of sucking in, he would then launched a massive wave that would hit both Seraphimon and Chris. His upper mouth also be can to open and prepared to fire once more. "SUPER DEAD SCREAM!!!" Gulfmon's main mouth would once more fire a blast that would then separate into multiple rays, hitting Seraphimon and whatever else it came a cross. Being in full rage, Gulfmon had shifting from aiming for Seraphimon to aiming for him and everything else. The rays would scatter across the sky and the ground.
"I... I warned you... to leave..." Reiji said in a possessed tone. "NOW... YOU... MUST... DIE!!!!!!!!!"

Chris frowned as he saw the attack coming. He shook his head he knew he was in trouble, but he wouldn't let that stop him from saving Marcus. He then looked at the corrupted digivice and picked it up. The moment he touched it the digivice glowed and he knew he wouldn't fail. "Please Marcus....lend me your power.." He said. He felt tears roll down his face. As the attack flew towards him he was surprised to see a gold shield form a dome around him protecting him. Skylar landed in front of the shield to help protect him "Chris...I don't know how long I can keep this up...but I'm afraid Marcus is in more trouble than we could predict...I just want to say that it was an honor working with you...you were a great friend...when you find Marcus tell him that I said he is lucky for such a good friend" He said. Suddenly Skylar began to glow bright white "I will give this everything I have" He said. He then charged at Reiji "Divine Light....." He said. He then flew right in front of Reiji and Gulfmon. Chris only watched in shock "Skylar! NO!" He yelled. Skylar looked back for a minute trying to withstand the attack of gulfmon. He then turned to face them again "....Final Testament!" He roared. There was a sudden drawing of light from all around them and then a large explosion and implosion. It was his final attack. Final testament took all the energy and life force of the user and the area and directed it as an unbelievably powerful attack and it could be seen for miles. When the attack ended Skylar stood no more. Chris collapsed to his knees crying "Skylar.....no don't go..." He said.

((Well then... no more Skylar I guess sweatdrop ))
"GAAAAHHH!!!" Reiji covered his eyes as he was blinded by the angel's final assault. He watched as Gulfmon was consumed by the attack. He knew that Gulfmon was probably not going to make it out of that without severe injury at the least. Gulfmon was consumed and had reverted back to his in-training form, Kuramon.
"JUDECCA PRISM!!" A sphere of energy engulfed Reiji, protecting him from the attack. "Honestly, I don't know why you have such a desire to die." Another boy walked out, joined by a ChaosGallantmon. He looked over to see who it was that was causing quite a commotion. "Chris, right?" He recognized the boy from quite a distance. "Move on, there is nothing for you here." He turned from to walk back and then stopped. "You can keep that old relic, he won't be needing it or any of the items still on it anymore. Move on, boy. I assure you he has already."
Reiji went to pick up the fainted Kuramon and ran to catch up with Kuro and ChaosGallantmon.

Chris looked at the new person "Wait you know Marcus...please tell me where he is and if he's alright...please he's my best friend" He said. He grasped Marcus's digivice tightly fearful of what was going on "and how do you know my name?" He asked. He was sure the guy wasn't around when he said his name earlier.

Kuro stopped once more, not even bothering to turn his head back and face Chris. "We know Marcus quite well... more than you do, I'm afraid. Best move on now least it be you that needs saving." He continued walking once more and disappeared inside the building behind them. Chaosgallantmon was not satisfied and stood in front of the door with her arms crossed and a cold stare looked on Chris.
