*Click* Mm, saxophones... Normally anything to do with rap makes my ears bleed, but this is so cleverly observed and written. And jazz influenced.

I continue to be entirely sold on IAMX.

I really don't understand a lot of people's aversion to rap. I guess I used to be the same, but recently I've been getting more into hip-hop artists (particularly UK hip-hop.) I guess the problem is that people are put off by the way that rap is marketed, and the cultural connotation that go with it. I think that's a shame though, since in my experience at least, most rap artists seem generally speaking to have a lot more to say (often musically as well as lyrically) than most of Britain's vacuous chart-indie bands (The Kaiser Chiefs, The View, The Fray, The Fratellis, The Arctic Monkeys, not to mentioned the peerless awfulness and mediocrity of Kate Nash...I could go on.)
