During my entire stay on Gaia, I never really payed attention to the gold. I came here to talk with people, and I spent a good deal of time in Extended Discussion. Then, I realized that most people there are complete morons and little if anything posted was worth reading. So then I went to the subforums and realized that I had joined this guild, though I forgot to actually post in it (for a while I had no idea how to go to your guilds).
Now I just goof off with my free time. Quests = effort, and I = lazy.
P.S. From the way you said that, I think I will avoid her profile...

Sometimes it's more fun to just relax and enjoy yourself than to fret over how much gold you need to get an item. It's really more healthy to have a laid back attitude like yours. ^_^ *phazes out of the room*
