I just kindof laughed at my supervisors when they kept pressuring me to try to get credit applications since my general attitude is "I'll do all that i can do, and that's all I can do".

Actually according to x-tain mythos, you're 100% right. After all god created everything including lucifer and evil according to that, so he would literally be the root of all evil.
