Sugar Dhaku ...ja oder nein? @Misu: Stuff. Like the dotHack wiki logo but to say "Splintered Reality". Just to look pretty. First one was to Astra who did this weird face and a poking motion. And then I edited after I saw your post.

Haku, to your earlier statement, I'd love the idea of hackers, though you'd have to watch what exactly it is that they are hacking. Bylaws to live by.

Exactly. That's why I am trying to figure out if I will only let trusted people be hackers or if I need to come up with a system to govern them. Because having the knowledge to hack is essentially giving regular players Morganna-like and Aura-like powers.

Tonight is the night we become great!The Stars will show us the way! I'd suggest several tiers to the skill of hacking. That way, one person doesn't necessarily have access to a skill of some sort. That way, should someone wish to become a master hacker, they've got to show that they have... The ability to restrain themselves and stop themselves from being an omniscient PC.
By the by, I liked your suggestion in the think tank. xD Tonight is the night we become Great! The Stars are what gave us away!
