My mum wants a definite answer next week as to what career I should pursue. I was thinking about

[x]Lawyer (I'm not sure about the hours on this one with apparently it pays well

[x]Doctor (Lots of hours and not a great load of money}

[x] Art teacher (Teachers are supposed to get a lot of money... I dunno)

Any ideas? And other occupations?

@Lunar: I'd go with being a Lawyer, it is one of the highest paying jobs in the States, but that probably just in the States...

But you should do what you want to do. If you have a job you love you never work a day in your life. ^_^

Lawyers are only the highest paid because they charge way too damn much.

Doctors get paid quite a bit in this country. But, nursing is better if you want to actually help people. ^_-

Teaching is the best for helping people because you make the lawyers, doctors, etc of tomorrow. Its very demanding though.

Tell your mummy dearest Luny, that she's a prat. You've got a 16 year old friend who hasn't even the faintest idea as to what Uni she's going to go to, much less what she wants to do with the rest of her life, and she's in advanced classes and next school year will actually be taking Uni level courses.

Tell her that deciding on a profession at the grand old age of 13 is the stupidest idea ever.

And tell her that you're just fine being a kid thank you very much, so just supply the ice cream and the telly with a couple of House DVDs and nobody gets hurt.
