I must admit I got a bit annoyed about that when people kept saying ****** and stuff. Everyone's minds just automatically jump to that nowadays don't they. I blame too much flash news coverage. People wouldn't have thought like that when the book was written.

(also I don't think kids think like that either, and it was a kids movie)

It wasn't so much the holding hands as the drugs. Then Lucy waking up, and Joe McAvoy's expression. Plus I kept remembering when he was in the BBC adaptation of Macbeth.

He was really cool in that, I was very impressed.. Mind-you, I was so impressed with the ShakespeaRetold adaptations that I bought them all on DVD.
