Dax shook his head violently. "No! Gabumon and Thunder! They'll get hurt!" He said. He stood up and ran over to Gabumon who was about to get a hit from the last Ogremon he grabbed Thunder and stuffed him behind him and stood there, legs and arms outstretched in desperate attempt to protect them.
(Cue the Digimon music XD)
Suddenly, Gabumon began to glow as Dax's digivice started frizzing out. Dax turned around to see the glowing form of Gabumon get larger and longer until-poof.
Garurumon grinned slyly. "Alright, Ogremon, now, what did you say yo wanna do?" He opened his mouth widely, "HOWLING BLASTER!" And shot a large ray of firey energy at the Ogremon. It was shot into a tree and turned into bits.
"You're kidding....He digivolved before me..." Thunder said to himself.

Kaz watched the foolhardy trainer jump in front of the champion's attack. Gatomon made quick work of the last opponent, using lighting pummel to destroy it completly.
"Are you crazy! You don't have any armor, and could have been killed. Rookie digimon can hold thier own against champions for a little while. Besides gatomon would have prevented any danger that your digimon couldn't have handled."

"But...I didn't want Gabumon to be hurt. I just got him. And Me and Thunder have a really big relationship...and..." Stuttered.
"Don't worry about it" The large wolf-like digimon, Garurumon, said as he walked over.
"Its just plain odd how big I am now. I dont think Wolfs are normally this big." he muttered.
Thunder scowled. "He JUST got here and he already digivolved! What about me, huh!?" Thunder sat down and crossed his arms.

Gatomon wandered over, and Kaz rubbed her head afectionately, "Good job gatomon."

Kaz looked around and realized that everyone had left, so he and Gatomon set out into the forest.

Kaz wanders off for a bit before his digivice glowed brightly and a voice issued forth.
"You are now one of the chosen, and shall be a champion for causes across the digital plane. Along the way you will faces challenges, and others will join you along the way. I will guide you through these endevours. May the light of the digital world guide you."

Rae-Jou entered the wet but somehow sunny tropical forest. She watched some RedVegiemon wandering through the brushwood. But they didn't bother her. She was looking around with Kyuubimon but couldn't see anything suspicious.

Gatomon stared in shock as the digivice glowed and spoke. She was curious as to what the device's speach could have meant.
Kaz saw a button was glowing on the front of his digivice, so he pushed the button to see what it would do. A large holographic map sprang up. It showed a 3D map of the surrounding jungle. On it was a green dot, and a red dot. The green dot was closer, and Kaz almost unconsciously started moving towards it.
Gatomon folowed her dazed tamer, not sure what was going on.

Meanwhile Rae already found a nice place in the shadow under a palm. She leaned back and sighed. 'Well dude, in the real world there was never such a weather... actually not in my country. You know there was summer but...' Kyuubimon who also layed down rolled with it's eyes. It's tamer could be a real chatterbox. But only when she trusted someone. It raised it's head and looked up to the sun. The small but still intensive sunrays burned on it's fur. It was so hot but it's tamer didn't realize. But Kyuubimon wouldn't show. It always was cool. Some sweat pierced through it's thick fur and began to sparkle in the sun's light. It looked like Kyuubimon was shining and glittering.

Kaz stumbled past trees, and past a small pond before finding himself standing in front of a tamer and her Kyubimon. He shook his head to clear the stupor he had been in, and walked foward thinking to introduce himself. When suddenly his digivice shone, blinding him again. This time a light arced through the air and slamming into the tamer's digivice. Once again he was shocked. He began apoligizing, "Oh I'm so sorry! It's never done this before, and today it decides to do it twice. Oh I'm sooo sorry. I didn't mean to startle you."
Gatomon just watched bemused as her tamer stammered out an apology. She also noticed that the normally very impassive Kyubimon seemed to be glittering in her own sweat, and Gatomon covered her mouth with a paw to stifle a giggle.

Rae-Jou rubbed her head. Strange... a starnge encounter. She fluttered with her eyes. "Well..huh...." she stuttered. Kyuubimon opened one eye and gave a harsh glance to Gatmon. It saw her amusement and didn't think this was funny. It was quite hot and this digimon should understand. That's what Kyuubimon thought. Rae stood up. She looked kinda shocked at Kaz. "I'm fine... it's okay" She looked at the still apologizing boy infront. She reached out for his hand. "I forgive you..." And she smiled warmly and blushed a little bit. "Just say hello or something.."

Kaz rubbed the back of his head sheepishly with his gauntleted left arm, and offered his right hand out to shake the tamer's hand, "I'm Kazard, but you can call me Kaz."
Gatomon felt the exasperated digimon's glare, and stopped her giggle, but she still had small smirk when she brought her paw away from her mouth. She sauntered over to the Kyubimon, and said in a low voice so the tamer's wouldn't notice, "You look a bit warm, but I thought you were supposed to be so cool..." She groaned inwardly at her own pun.

"Oh hi...." Rae answered. "I'm Rae-Jou. You can call me rae whenever you want." She giggled and gave a look at Gatomon. "You have a sweet digimon." She smiled to Gatomon but made suddenly a surprised look. "Oh errr...." she muttered. "Why are you here?" She scratched her head. "Well... because I can't remember why I'm here... well can't remember is wrong... but I can't remember how I came here... you know" She looked unsure. "When I wake up Kyuubimon was by my side. That's all I know" Kyuubimon stood up slowly and shaked it's body like a wet dog. "I'm cool..." It answered quietly. Then it smirked too. It went near to Gatmon and sniffed several times at her. "You smell not negative... but a little muggy. Where have you been? To the sewers?"

"Hey! Are you listening kid? Stop playing with it already!" Demidevimon growled while hopping up and down in his little tantrum. Alice placed the digivice into her bag and stared bewilderedly at the odd talking ball with wings. "Alright already, I'll leave the thing alone. Oh and, the only stupid one is you for wearing a halloween costume in the middle of February." The digimon stood there appalled by what she said. After a few minutes of silence, he tilted his head and asked "What's halloween?" The girl stared in wonder at his question. What person did not know what Halloween is? "Never mind that. Com'on, let's get going before the sun rises," Demidevimon murmured while turning away from her. "Wait! Where am I? Who are you? And what do mean by that computer whatchamacallit gives you energy? I don't understand any of this!" Alice declared as she felt her nerves crash together. She saw him roll his eyes and glance back to see her pitiful freak out. "Clearly," the digimon stated then sighed."I'm DemiDevimon, and I am your digimon partner. That digivice, the thing you were messing around with, keeps me strong enough to fight. In this world, the digital world, you'll be fighting many battles with me. I fight to obtain my goal of getting back what I lost several years ago. Wither you fight to help me or your own for your desires is up to you. Understand now?" "Yes, but please stop calling me kid. My name's Alice." He nodded as if he understood and made his way down the tropical forest path. Alice stood up from her sitting position and quietly followed behind. Her eyes soared from place to place in amazement. She secretly wished that the abandoned park she resided in was this beautiful.

Gatomon continued conversing quietly with Kyubimon, "Hate to break it to you princess, but you don't smeel so great yourself, a little like wet dog, but I digress. I saw a nice looking pond a while back, maybe we can convince our tamers to walk that way."
Kaz stopped to think, he had never really thought about why he was here. He knew he liked adventuring, and reflected that he was oddly well suited to do so, but he was clueless as to why he was actually here. Then he glanced over at Gatomon who seemd to be enjoying herself, while teasing the other digimon, and he knew why. "I think it's because of Gatomon, we're meant to be together, and I think this is the only way."
