Nice! I think it'll be a nice touch, maybe you could use Stirland Mud for the base of the whole thing? It'd be a good mix with the rest of the scattered debris.

I'd really like to base my army in snow, but I don't really have a whole lot of snow terrain, I only have snow and that old foresty green stuff. And the nearest shop doesn't have any of the snow base either...And I don't have the money to really order any...v.v First world problems.

Haha, yeah... Seen any guides on how to do snow with just modeling sand and paint?

Nope, I actually hadn't thought of that honestly...I imagine it'd be about the same as the way I did it with my Dreadnaught, though I painted after I based it, now I know better and I'd probably paint it BEFORE basing it.

I took apart the last of my friend's Space Wolves that were all equipped really funky and then I decided to make an interesting model out of some of the bits to go with my Sons of Orar squad since they have no heavy weapon.

It crossed my mind, seeing as they girls got a Colonial Marine vibe going on, but then I remembered I'm about as good at painting camo on uniforms as the Daily Mail is honest.

And prototype number two, decided to give brown boots and pouches a try. May need to give the gaiters a wash of Devlan mud as well somewhere down the line, they pop a bit too much right about now.
