Why is it that MOST guy asians have spiky hair? (Pics)

INCLUDING MYSELF, heh! I just got a new haircut about a week ago and then I spiked it up. And guess what? I liked it, and I realize this now, but a (full) asian myself is typical with spiky hair, but I still like it? But there's a lot of asians with spiky hair? Is it tradition or something? I mean I like to be unique and all, but I like what I see. Here's a bit of my spik-IER hair:

are you suppose to use wax on wet, moist, or dry hair?

Mostly dry hair, but you can also use it on moist hair. Not sure about wet though, I guess you can use it on wet too, but it wouldn't hold the hair as much.

when i use wax i tend to put it on right after i towel dry my hair to a point where its semi-moist
