There was only one Mpreg story that even vaguely worked, and it was Danny Phantom. Some sort of weird experiment by Vlad, he took Danny's DNA and impregnated himself, then a few years later impregnated Danny. It was all very strange, but somehow it seemed to work. I really liked this one artist's rendition of their daughter Maddie. (I wonder who picked the name?)

It was something about technology advancing and letting males carry a child to be delivered through C-Section. I don't remember all the logistics of it but it seemed to be the only one I have ever read that even remotely worked. Personally I don't like MPreg... it's too out there and really not in my comfort boundaries. I don't criticize people who like it though, man power too you. I am just stating my personal tastes.

I REALLY dont like Mpreg all that much, its one of my very few pet peeves about Yaoi. I started hating Mpreg in the FMA RoyxEd section becuase most fics were like "One day roy and Ed screw and suddently Ed is pregnent!" It sucked majorly and ive grown to dislike it a lot.
That's not to say i hate it, when i'm bored I tend to delve into Mpreg fics, and i have to admit i have seen a few good, well writtin Mpreg fics with a plot that are worth reading.
I guess it all depends on you're taste!

Personally I don't like it, though I respect it. I had a bad experience with a Mpreg fanfic an exfriend wrote and it got me really sick of it.
I've read a few that have been really good, so that that made me think that what can be bad it's the approach the writer takes when doing it.

I've nothing against Mpreg unless it's in a badly-written fanfic. Lucky for me, I've only experienced one bad fic out of the few I've come across - the rest were short, cute, and fluffy ^^ Usually though, the thought of Mpreg makes me giggle xD

Mpreg isn't bad if you ask me, but I for one am not going to go prancing around telling the world that I like yaoi and mpreg...Just yaoi. If it's just Guy One screws Guy Two, one of them gets pregnant, then there's a 99.9% I won't like it.
But if it was an experiment or something gone wrong, then I might like it.
I read this YYH fan fic once, it was a Hiei/Kurama, and Hiei was the pregnant one. I can't remember if it was an experiment gone wrong or something because it's been forever since I read it, but I loved it. It was really funny and angsty near the end.
But then again, there was the fact that Hiei could breast feed. .__.;; The descriptive-ness of that part was highly disturbing.

I don't mind reading mpreg stories. I don't see any harm in them if there written properly, I mean, it's just a story. I'd read it if the plot is good. I'd never post Quote: This is an example.(THERE BOTH GUYS HE SOULDN'T BE PREGNANT) I feel that reveiws like that are wrong. They shouldn't be mocking someones story just because a guy is pregnant.

I've found another mpreg story that I could stand and actually liked. It's from Xiaolin Showdown, and it involved a Sheng-Gong-Wu called the Girdle of Life. Jack Spicer found it and called it's name without knowing what it did, and Chase Young threw Omi at him. When Omi hit Jack, Jack's insides rearranged in order to carry his and Omi's baby. He wound up living at the Xiaolin Temple, and over the next several months, Jack and Omi grew closer. It somehow got me to start drawing a scene from it, where it's Jack's 18th birthday, and he's 7 months along. Jack had been all emo because he thought he would never be a good mother, no matter how much he wanted to. So Omi talks to him about it and they...*ahem* y'know...

I've never seen a mpreg fanfiction, but then again, I've never tried searching for one. I think the thought of one guy getting another guy pregnant is kinda...strange, but hey, to each their own right?

I don't think I have EVER found an Mpreg fic that I actually liked. I just don't like the whole concept of a male getting pregnant, really. I'm sure it does work in some situations though, like some of the older posts said about it being done scientifically.
I respect people who do like it though. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, huh?

It's very iffy... It might seem ironic when I say this, but I just can't see it happening. It's biologically impossible. o__O;;
I don't really care if people write MPreg stories, I just choose not to read it.

I don't really care if people write MPreg stories, I just choose not to read it. And that's the mature thing to do. ^^ There are too many people around who don't like something and yet they'll go and read it and they'll have the gall to flame an author for it. I can see if the author doesn't warn about it beforehand, but flames and flamers and bashers get to me like nothing else (except bugs. Bugs affect me more than anything else in the entire world)

I'd have to say, it depends on who is writing it, how well they explain it (aside from hermaphoditism) and how the story progresses... it's an interesting concept that when done right can convey absolute love and the willingness to pass on that love to create life. It's not something you can take "seriously", but a symbolic testament to the wishes of people who truly love eachother, but what is a child but a manifestation of the love of two people?
