I heard this saying a while a go... "people who are homophobes are usually denying it"

<.< Yeah, and there's also the small factor of "God says that's not right, so it shouldn't be allowed!" Gah, makes me wanna throw up... I've got this society-proof wall around me I think. I'm allowed to speak up, I'm allowed to think gays and lesbians deserve to be together no matter what, and I'm free to say I'm bi, gay or lesbian without insults thrown at me with flaming arrows.

God, why have you made such a hypocritical and imperfect race...? *sighs*

And, I just feel like saying this, I'm bi and feel about stupied denying it at first. I'm also agnostic, and just respect other religions, though Christianity and Cathlicism get on my nerves... stare All I have to say... sweatdrop

In my oppinion everyone should leave everyone else alone. Who cares if someone is gay, bi, or straight. If they are a good person then it shouldn't matter. And as for the gay marriage topic it does sort of, let's say get on my nerves "a bit" that anyone ( even the president ) thinks they have the right to say who can marry who. Love is love. No one can stop it, not even the president. ( I don't mean to offend anyone I was just expressing my oppinion )

People typically dislike yaoi/shounen-ai for one of several reasons.

i. They've had the displeasure of encountering one too many buttsex-chanting fangirls in the manga section of their local bookstore.

ii. They've read one too many poorly-written NaruSasu/SoraRiku slashfics.

iii. They are annoyed by the random pairing of two characters who seemingly have no "canon" relationship at all.

(It's the fans like this who give the genre a bad name. Thankfully, none of you quite fit this category. :3)

Or iv. They're just ignorant.

Personally, I think it's quite ignorant for people to immediately chalk someone's dislike of yaoi up to homophobia.

the main reason for why people are against yaoi is a couple of reasons Ok:

1. it's been a tradition for so many years that relations are only girl
and boy. its a heavy tradition in most families.

2. and this is the most common reasoning for a lot of things:

they fear what the do not know! people are afraid of gays and yaoi

and yuri and all the rest because they are afraid they might become gay

or they are afraid of who the broken tradition they are disgusted of two

PEOPLE in love when it all boils down it is love that matters. this is

what i always say:

everyone has the right to love and no one has the right to tell them who

they must love and who the cannot love, who are they to be more of a

better person to be higher almost like a god to denounce who can love and

who they should love . oh also and a very touchy reason is religion but i

wont rant about that. anyways ^_^ oops i ranted too much ^^;;;


i hope i shed some light on this subject.

oh i don't think this matters but this is all coming for a straight person ^_^
