What First Drawn You To Anime?

When I was a little kid I watched cartoons and then the first anime thing I seen was pokemon and after that it became the big thing. Then It got old and I moved on to other anime like DBZ. Then anime became huge. I got my friends hooked on it.

The first anime that i watched was Escaflowne on FoxKids on Saturday mornings. The first movie was Vampire Hunter D (both in the same sitting)! (drools) D is soooooo hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In fact, i'm reading the novel.
