Lucifer H. Marik Threads like these that ask stupid questions are the reason that I have given up on people theres a select few people out there that I deem intelligent or worthy of my time and I will say that feeling the need to make a thread asking this question makes you not worthy Im sorry if my opinion hurts your feelings but bare in mind life is not fair and that my opinion is my opinion and Im free to say what I please. I felt the need to reply to this for the need to rant at the over growing stupidity in our current society not only in its youth but in the older people. I have had counseling since the age of 5 because even at 5 people bugged the crap out of me and I have anger issues and its all because of ignorance Ive observed in other people *walks away and quits guild* I like this guy's rant on intelligence, yet there are multiple grammar errors and one - maybe more - spelling error.

@ Undercover Emo and Luna Le Fay - The Bible states quite plainly that ALL have fallen short of the glory of God - aka sinned. There's only ever been one who has never sinned - Jesus. God does love everyone. But God won't save everyone. God only saves those who wish to be saved and act on that wish by obeying him.

Of course it is biggrin
I'd recommend not decking your face out in white & black makeup & wearing your favourite Goth ensemble... some people, especially older ones, might become uncomfortable or even offended. &, no matter how "stupid" that might be, a church is of course a place of worship, spirituality, & means a lot to a lot of people, & it's best to -- in my opinion -- tone down your Goth look as much as reasonably possible when attending church.

I actually live within an eight minute walking distance of a Gothic cathedral. It's really nice biggrin (For those who don't know: "Gothic" is, among many other things, a style of architecture, generally seen in cathedrals & other sorts of churches.)

Austin's got his own set of beliefs, and as far as he know it doesn't really go with any set religion, but he does find the feeling of a church kind of relaxing. Tat said he doesn't visit weekly or even really regularly, but every now and then if he's pressured or very stressed or just in a bad or confused mood he'll go to a sunday morning service just because there's a good feeling there, probably the feeling that everyone there just feels like they have at least one thing in common, the fac tthat they like being in the church, and the feeling of morals and unity kind of calms Austin down and lets him get his thoughts straight, although he almsot never listens to anything that is said, just because he's doing what he came there to do, get his thoughts straight. Speaking of which he's probably going this weekend.
And yes, he did get a lot of strange looks the first few times he came, but the people who have seen him a few times seem to know that he's just there to feel good, not to cause any harm or trouble, so they don't mind.
