well...my sister was talking about it and i first thought 'omfg!!yew!!!!'
but then i read a fanfic about harry/draco and i fell in love. i started reading FMA yaoi ff's and YGO. then, i read EQ, Loveless, and Gravitation.so thats me story

I must say, with pride, that I was born a follower of Boy-Love, not that my parents where to impressed.
My first reaction to it was: 'My gawd! Thats so hot.'

Eh, I hated for a good half year after I found out what it was. Then I'm like... "Oh god, maybe I should see just what these people like about it..." Hit a Puppyshipping fic and that was the end of it. I've still got files from when I hated it. oO I now laugh upon those files. I was glued after one or two fics anyways.

I was reading fanfictions and one was labeled 'shonen-ai', and I wondered what it was...so, I clicked it.
Then later, a freind introduced 'gravitation' to me. I thought it was yaoi, untill people were talking about the diference between yaoi and shonen-ai in the forums. I wanted to see what yaoi was.
Later I was at an anime con, this older girl started talking to me and my friend and I about doujinshi art. She was sceptical about showing us the comics she had, but after we talked for a while she showed us.
I was then hooked. XP

For a while I would deny my love of boy love, because where I live, you get shot for telling others. Now, I am proud of it and people accept me for it. They say it is cool that I can be honest with everyone. So Yes, I have always liked boy love!!!! heart

My friend Grace was like "Oh you like manga? Read Gravitation!!" so she lets me borrow it and I liked it, so then I borrowed the 2nd one... and here I will quote my comic I drew after I read it. xp

Origonally i didn't like it i mean if i saw just one speck of it i'd slam the book shut and never read it again.

The first yaoi i came in contact with was DBZ yaoi. It was Vegeta and Goku. burning_eyes My first thought was WHAT THE ********!!!! I love Vegeta and to see him getting hammered my Goku blew my mind. But the more i looked at it the hotter it looked. Fast foward to a few years and i am not a proud Yaoi addict. rofl

i don't know it just slowly took me in, i mean at first i thought nothing of it and then the next thing i knew was that i loved shounen-ai/yaoi. i don't even think it's weird, cause some people will see two guys holding hands or kiss and i'll just see it as hetero's kissing or holding hands. it's natural to me. blaugh
