She gently put her body between the two of them. Despite being smaller frame then the guy. Zina blocked Viktor's path with her legs, one leg was straight well the other was against the door frame. So he'd have to run into her to get to the guy. Though before the guy could try to pet Viktor she put the guys hand on her hip. "It'd be best not to pet him. He's not the touchy kind.", she said with a smile. Of course she glanced back at Viktor with a look that said "Back off!". Before pulling the guy down for a slow burn kiss.

When she got in the middle of them he looked to her. He was wondering why she thought that he would just straight out attack this guy. During the entire time he watched them he did not sense any ill will in him. Though he was glad she told him not to pet him since he doesn't really like to be touched. At one point as they were kissing she could hear, "You have a weird taste in males. Also I can tell he isn't a Siren like you so why do you like him?" As she could tell that it was different then when he normally talked. Mostly because he was talking straight into her mind. "If you can't talk straight into someone else head I would recommend not responding since this is only one way.", he warned her so she wouldn't just start talking to him out of no were. Though as he said this he was sitting down right in front of them.

As soon as the kiss broke the guy's phone rang. She let him pull back to look at it. When he answered he stepped away only to wink at her. Now she gave Viktor an annoyed look. Before mouthing " It doesn't matter what they are. As long as they can take care of me."

After another minute or two the guy hung up his phone. Announcing he had to cover someone's shift. Pouting she looked up at him, saying she understood. Though she did not imply another time. Once he was gone she gone inside and kicked off her shoes. Before putting the baked goods up properly. Her face slowly started to turn red as she remembered the one weekend she had. Now she facepalmed and groaned into her hands.

After the guy left he watched her and walked up to her when she started groaning. " What did you mean take care of you? Also you aren't going to mate with him? I thought that was the whole reason he was here.", he asked while tilting his head in confusion. As he asked he was now laying right in front of her looking up from the floor

"Just stop asking questions. And he had to go to work. But we had a fling a few months ago. That was supposed to be that. And no I won't invite him again." she said. Before she grabbed a bottle of tequila and gone to her bedroom. Of course she locked the door and started to crank up the music a bit. Though she made sure not to go to loud for Viktor's sanity. After that night of her not coming out of her room.

The next few days after this, she mostly avoided Viktor. She'd blush a bit to easily sometimes. Though out of frustration she would go to the gym and work out for a few hours. Before she would go swimming for a few more hours. She had told her mermaid party job she needed time off after a stalker fan tried to attack her. Thankfully the company for the time had her on vacation. The days she worked at the Bakery were more peaceful; sorta. At this point it some how had become two weeks from the night she got attacked. Slowly it felt like each passing day was an inch towards insanity.

He was confused by her avoiding him but didn't push it to much. As the weeks went by he stuck to how he normally watched over her. Every time she went out he would be close behind and on the look out for anything trying to get to her. When he got hungry he would go out into the forest and hunt as his wolf beast form. But also come back with the carcass saying it was for her if she was short on food. Though at one point when he knew she didn't need to go out he told her to stay home while he went out to check on something important.

When Viktor told her to stay home and grumbled. But laid on the couch and was buried under a couple of layers of blankets. After a while she fell asleep and her dreams were blanks if not sudden blurs. Finally her mind settled down on a dream. Before she knew it she felt someone holding her hands above her head from behind her. Standing there she frowned yet blushed. No words where spoken as a hand moved her hair off her neck. Kisses fell onto her neck and shoulders making her gasp. Though she finally looked at who was behind her, it was Viktor.

Before she could process the dream fully she bolted up on the couch. Followed by falling onto the floor, panting. It was obvious she woke up to a racing heart. A blush flooded her face, neck and ears now. Groaning she held her face in her hands.


Though the deer he brought her did get cut up and frozen. After it had been skinned with help from a few videos.

Once he left he turned into his winged beast form and took off. All he did was travel to key locations that he was charged with protecting. When he got to them all he did was check around to see if anyone had gotten close to them. He made sure that everything was as it should be and nothing was tampered with. As soon as he was finished he quickly flew back to her house and entered as the Tibetan mastiff through the front door.

After she stood up she grumbled. Once he got in she was on a hot shower. Both doors like normal were closed. Finally after her shower she came out in a pair of sweatpants with a matching sweater. She took the towel off her head before ruffling her hair dry as she sat down on the couch.

He walked over to her and jumped up on the couch to sit next to her. "If you do not mind me asking about your magic power? I would like to know the extent of your abilities. It is clear that you have a good amount of it with good control as well since you killed that Redcap."As he talked to her he began to lay down while looking at her. Believing that it would be better to understand what she could do just in case something came up.

Part way of drying her hair she looked at him. Before sighing and put the towel around her shoulders. Her hair was still pretty damp. Now she turned to face him "Wind magic, water of course and charming people. And my skin can become rough like a sharks. Which helps to keep others from laying hands on me.", she said as she looked at him. Before raising her eyebrow at him. Of course she left out using her voice as a weapon, since she figured he heard it.

Listening to her go over her abilities he was nodding and thinking of what else she might be able to do with help. "So pretty standard stuff. Have you gotten any training to advance those skills? Like with a Siren that studied ancient text from your ancestors. You Sirens were stronger as a race along time ago but got weaker as time went on.", he said as he laid his head down and began relaxing on the couch. Now he was thinking that it would be best to get her stronger so she could take on stronger mythical creatures without his help. This would also help them not have to stay together anymore.

She thought his question over for a solid twenty seconds if that. Followed by shaking her head,"No ain't that lucky. Apparently one of my great Gramma's did. But she was killed in a freak car wreck when I was just a toddler.", she replied. Before looking back at the TV. Now she pulled the blankets around her as she inwardly sighed.

Letting out a sigh when she told him that. "To bad. But not difficult to work around. We can always try finding someone else to maybe teach you more advance magic. We'll look into that at another time and hope you are skilled enough to control the old magic." Not to please that he would probably have to got to the Sirens home to try and find her a teacher but couldn't think of anything else at the moment.

,"Anything else?", she mused. Hoping he had no more questions. Though he would notice that her hair was not naturally black. As an auburn shade started to show at her roots.
