Nunya was a large ball of emotions now clinging to her partner's arm for dear life! She shook and shivered, bounced and even whimpered at almost every little thing. A bundle of feather and nerves...

At the sight of the shadowy figure, she eeped and ducked behind her companion for the moment. "What was that?!?!" she nearly squawked in the other's ear, pointing far too dramatically at the door where she'd seen the thing vanish.

ROUND 3

Be it your curiosity, the desperate need to get back to get back to the party, or something entirely unrelated to your wants, you start to draw towards the hotel. As you and your partner push through the doors you're not met with the all too familiar pink decorations and the stone statues of the Erotes and Graces. Yes, everything is still decorated for some kind of party, but the blues and purples were not what you were expecting. What were once familiar stone faces are now replaced with somepae completely unrecognizable. Sure, the fountains and piles of food are still there, but this party feels off.

Even so, you step inside to get a better look. As the two of you do, party music begins to play and the food beckons. It looks like its all been set up just for you. Do you partake?

Well...he did have a point. It could be the pae behind this. But in for a rabbit, in for a deer. She had already made her mind to follow and follow she did. Back into the hotel, down into the main room -which was suddenly different than what she left it as.


And no. Pae. "I...have a bad feeling about this..." Aurelia admitted as she finally slowed down to a halt. The food looked delicious but she held no interest. The music was lively but she wouldnt dance. It felt just too off, too strange, bells were ringing in her head. "Maybe we should keep trying tonfind that mystery pae?"

It took a few moments upon entering for Hjortur's eyes to readjust to the light that was otherwise absent outside. He looked around, a soft hmm... trailing. "Guess we've returned" That said, something felt... off... Not enough to trigger his danger-senses, but it was just a bit peculiar. He wouldn't quite put his fin on it.

Had there always been a private-access portion of the party? If so, he'd wish he'd learned of it more often. Kel surely would have been enjoying herself much more here than surrounded by a bunch of strangers.

Speaking of... Before they could get any drinks or food, there was something much more important to do. "Let's go rest our fins." That would be the first thing on Kel's mind after walking so much. Even he was starting to feel a bit parched; they must have been out longer than he'd expected.

"Ooof" After quite literally picking her date up off the ground and brushing off the dust, the rakshasha opened the door and lead the pair of them inside. She blinked a few times before her eyes started to shift around. Huh... Had the party ended in the time they'd been gone? How long was that?

And had the place always had such diversity of color? Shah was sure it had been wholly and fully a distasteful bleaching of pink.

And then she saw it.

The alcohol.

Oh. No. She. Was. Not. Going. To. Fall. For. This.

If she let up her attention for even a moment her date was going to run off and get into Guardians' know how much trouble. Unease aside, she couldn't let that mess progress any further.

Lightly pulling on Laz's arm, the rak tried to coerce her towards one of the lounge areas. "Shall we go sit down; rest our feet for a moment~?"

Oh no she was going in anyways why did she always do this?!

"Yeah! I've been saying that from the start!" Why hadn't she had a bad feeling prior to this moment. The sprite surely wasn't helping the situation, but he wanted to vocalize hit thoughts nonetheless. Outburst quelled, he took a moment to look around. Music, food, drink, pink... It all seemed par for the course for a Venus Day party. What was strange was how otherwise empty it was. Still...

His stomach audibly growled.

Oh yeah, he'd forgotten to eat earlier; they'd gone off dancing before he could. "Do you even know where he went?"

Without pausing to wait on her fauny highness Saira had continued forward and into the hall, then the main area. The sudden return of music in what had been a quiet room upon her entering startled her, but she quickly regained her senses.

Guess they were back.

Wonder where everyone else went.

No matter.

The harpy stretched her arms after what apparently hadn't been that big of a deal. Look, they were welcoming them back! With a smile, she took notice of the delicious-looking food and quickly scurried over to partake in it.

Laz groaned sitting on the ground after running into the door. She couldn't believe that man the nerve! "Heee closed the dooor in my faaaaace" She whined at Shah.

It huuuuurt, but at least shah was still here~

"Thaaanks" She called to Shah as the rak picked her up and brushed her off. Shah was soooo niiice.

She leaned against Shah as they headed inside the party hall. "He got awaaaay" She whined noticing the man was no where to be seen

It was all purple and blue not at all the original pink. "It's pretttty." Much nicer than just pink, blues and purples where good colors.

"Kaaaay" She said as Shah suggested that sit down for a bit. Her face did still hurt.

She giggled looking around as they headed into the lounge there was no one around "A paarty just for uusss!" She giggled again "ALL the food and drinks we want! Everything for usss!"

Nunya cringed and cowered as the other turned and told her to calm down. Eyes instantly watered as a whimper escaped up her throat. "Nunya sorry! Nunya behave!" she sniffled softly. Feathers fluffed after a moment as she forced herself to straighten up. "Yes. Name is Nunya." she nodded then tilted her head.

The tears that were bubbling there were quickly forgotten as she glanced at the door they were approaching. "Nyx is good name." she nodded then fluttered over to the door. "Nunya like Nyx. Nyx very nice!" she smiled a bit then opened the door to peek inside.

The sounds of music was nice, but Nunya's eyes were immediately drawn to the food. With a nearly over-audible gasp, Nunya turned wide eyes to Nyx. "Nunya see food!!" she chirped in excited delight. "Come! Lots of food! Nunya can share!!" she giggled, grabbing Nyx in an attempt to drag her inside.

Octavius sighed as he followed the curiously shadowy figure into the building then waited for his companion. "Hmm..."

He frowned looking around. The mass amounts of people that had been at the party weren't here either. Odd. "Doesn't look like your son is here..." he sighed and glanced back at the other. "There's plenty of food though... I'd suggest eating for energy but something about all this just doesn't.... It just doesn't feel right..." He continued to glance around. As tempting as the food was, he was more concerned about how suddenly everyone was just... gone...

Neo was met with extreme disappointment. The building was completely empty of anyone! Including his son... The male was trying not to panic, no one was here, so perhaps more time had passed than he realized and his son had headed home. "Where did that other pae go?" Neo questioned curiously. "And..." While his eyes looked around for the mysterious pae, something felt different about the place. Maybe everything looked different simply because everyone was gone. The statues seemed more disturbing... The colors... "I'm almost certain things look very different than they did before"

The other male was right too, the food looked completely untouched, everything was untouched. "This is really strange... I'm not sure we should have any of this..." Neo said suspiciously. His tummy growled, loudly. "It does look pretty nice though..."

Tolek pushed the door open only enough to peek through at first. Where had--? The figure was gone. Feeling his feathers p***k at the back of his neck, he glanced back at Enfys, then through the door again. He pushed the door open a bit more, cautiously entering while balanced lightly on the toes of his talons. Something felt wrong.

The feeling hit him even before he noticed the changes. While he preferred this color scheme much more than the gaudy, blinding pinks, the change itself was unsettling. Why would they redecorate the party? And where was everyone? The rest of the room beyond appeared similarly prepped for the party atmosphere, but the atmosphere itself was lacking. Food, decorations...and a heavy feeling hung over everything. Tolek's predatory instincts were screaming.

The harpy kept to the edge of the room after entering, unwilling to step out into the open. He aimed a look at his current companion and whispered under his breath, "Don't like this."

Dyas was a bit wary of the stranger, hence why she had rooked to Azure. But then suddenly he dropped her hand and ran off! Her jaw dropped slightly in surprise. Did he really just...

She couldnt just stand there though. The female took off after the pair, disappearing into the hotel. Almost immediately she noted the differences. The statues had changed, the colors and...where were all the pae?

As they travelled down into the main room, food stretched out wirh untouched food and music began to play. She'd be tempted to snag one of the juicy strawberries if it wasnt so unnerving here. Where did the mystery pae go? The guests? Were they the only ones who where there? Dyas gave Azure a small shrug before looking along the walls for another door or room. Maybe they should explore?

Kelebek, too, had an uneasy feeling, both about the party's unusual emptiness and it's off-color decorations. "What happened to everyone else?" She asked aloud, fearing some apocalyptic scenario.

She'd forgotten about how dry she felt until Hjortur suggested they go soak their fins. "Oh yes, let's do that."
