He was sitting in the library when Kagami returned...returned with none other than Belamos Karna in tow. Somehow she had actually pulled it off. She had duped the Prince himself. The thought of the arrogant b*stard being unknowingly manipulated was almost funny enough to make him laugh. He placed down his book, stifling a grin. And moved towards them. He wanted to be near enough to be present if she wanted to make introductions but not so close as to intrude. Of course, he already knew everything there was to know about him but he would put on the same air of ignorance that he wore in relation to everyone.

__ So he did think that Kagami was trying to trap him. That was not a surprise to her in the slightest. When he asked if there were powerful enough shinobi to follow his lead Kagami tapped her chin. "Ryutaro, Naoki, the other girl..." She continued to list off the powerful potential of those shinobi internally before responding. "I'm afraid not." The enchantress responded flatly, the true Kogarashi leader knew who her loyal ace operatives were and she did not want Belamos to have any access to them in the slightest. "Well, my offer for Tsuki still stands." Kagami said harkening back to their previous conversation about his wife's lack of attendance. She waved at Reiji when he approached, but would not otherwise engage him. Suddenly, a Kogarashi operative approached her and gave her a note. She quickly read it and returned it to the agent before the agent ran off. "I have some urgent missions to complete independently soon. Is there anything else to discuss?" She asked, she had urgent matters to attend to and she was also certain that Belamos would be missed in Arashigakure before long.

Belamos sighed. He figured as much- it seems Takumi really had let things slip that far. He would have to tighten things up around here if they were to prosper. He was aware of the dark haired male standing off to the side, the one that Kagami waved to, but paid him little mind. He looked like more of a planner than a do-er. What annoyed Belamos, however, was Kagami's hiding of information from him already. Crossing his arms over his chest Belamos would speak as she concluded her sentence "I do not think so. But I will say this before you go- my age may have softened my edges a bit but I do not tolerate insubordination or the slightest form of treason. Test me and you will find the difference between Takumi and myself to be substantial" He wasn't gonna mince words with her- if she betrayed him he would kill her. They both knew this. What would remain to be seen would be if that mattered to her. Uncrossing his arms, Belamos ran his fingers through his hair and inhaled deeply, now acutely aware of how tired he was "Go. Handle your business but report back soon. I'm going to settle in here" With that he would walk away, headed to the second floor. As he passed the black haired male he would point to him "You. With me"
He walked up to the board room and took a seat at the lead table. The male followed him in as well. "What's your name?" He asked, folding his hands in his lap.
"Reiji" He responded.
Belamos simply nodded. He needed someone to carry out a task, but seeing as it wasn't particularly troublesome it didn't really matter who he sent "Get together a team of engineers and doctors from our roster. Travel to the Whirlpool Village and assist in any rebuilding efforts on the civilian side. Win the hearts and minds of the people Reiji. Don't make any trouble and there won't be an issue" With that he dismissed the black haired male who quickly left.
Belamos was pouring over documents in the room later on when he saw a pink haired woman walk by. "You- come in here" He called out, signaling to her. While she didn't look particularly strong she was at least equipped differently than the rest of the nameless flunkies in the building
__ Kagami remained stone-faced, but it was hilarious to her that Belamos believed that he had any real authority over her. She successfully fought back a smirk. If he decided to ever attack her then his arrogance and underestimation of her abilities would be his undoing. She only offered a feigned subordinate nod and curtsy to his ridiculous warning before turning around and leaving. "The biggest fool I've ever met." This was her concluding thought before she would head into Gimangakure to take care of business.

Tensions ran high in the room as Kagami and Belamos faced off. After a heated scene, Belamos seemed to be taking charge....right? She blinked blankly as she tried to take in the situation. Before she got her barings straight, Belamos would speak to her. She had never seen him before today. He seemed confident and firm in himself. She was spooked by his attention as her hair comically stood on end as she replied. "Y-YES!" She stood at attention, ready to listen to what the man desired.

His eyes narrowed at the woman. Nervous little thing she was. Belamos smiled at her and rose to greet her, extending one hand of hers to shake and placing the other on her shoulder "No need to be nervous kid, I'm just a normal guy. My name is Belamos Karna. I will be taking charge around here. It's nice to meet you. Can you tell me a little about yourself please?" He would gesture to the stack of paperwork behind him, chuckling in a self-deprecating manner "I'm trying to learn who everyone is and what their skills are- but I figure it's a lot better to hear it straight from the horses mouth so to speak" Turning back to her he would await a reply, trying to exude an air of comfortability yet professionalism in his interactions with her. While he may have been harsh with Kagami that was not who he truly was anymore. Belamos was, at least for now, much softer. Gesturing to the door, he would direct her back into the hallway "Walk with me- I need to see the facility"
__ If the information gathered from the twenty-something souls of the spies and other locals he'd excavated was correct, then this was the supposed seat of leadership in Gimangakure. Sandayu casually approached the building and his naturally dark grey eyes aided in his first opinion of the secret base. "Hidden in plain sight..." He sighed and shrugged at the novelty concept put into practice. Sanda passed several faces going any which way as he navigated the Institute's corridors. It definitely put on airs as a simple facility of learning and personal growth. Anyone less the wiser or out of the know wouldn't think that those managing this place's operation also basically had a hand in every other underworld happening throughout the rest of the Village of Hidden Deceit. As he followed the posted signs to the Kogarashi Institute director's office he noticed a change in the social scenery. It was mostly subtle, but the types of people looming about had a much more alert vibe. Their security wasn't necessarily lax, but it was far from concerning to one such as Sandayu. He wasn't much for sneaking around unless actually necessary. Finally, he'd be just down the hall from the director's office, only to be stopped by a pair that apparently acted as guards around here. "Stop right there! Who are you?" The other chimed in while also blocking Sanda's path, "And what business do you have here?" Given how all the rest of the staff around her had been keeping tabs on a stranger like him roaming the premises, the young man couldn't be tickled all that surprised by this reaction. Even so, he had no interest in holding any kind of discussion with the likes of these two. "One." He started counting aloud. Both guards exchanged glances then daringly moved closer. "This might be a school but don't think counting will suffice for an answer to our questions." The other guard just nodded a few times. "Hooh... who are these unlucky ones?" That voice echoed in his head again but Sandayu did his best to ignore it and simply continued while closing his eyes. Behind his eyelids awaited their fate- be it good or ill, "Two..." If nothing was done soon, a couple fools were doomed to lose their lives like everyone else that crossed Sandayu's path just to be an annoyance.

As Belamos walked through the hallways with Kaida, he remarked at the hidden security of the place. While, technically, the institute was open to the public the way it was constructed allowed things to be hidden in near plain sight. It bespoke Takumi's ingenuity to come up with these designs. He would let Kaida say her peace, nodding and making smalltalk as necessary until he got to one of the longer cooridoors leading to where his office was. In front of him were two of Kogarashi's rare guards accosting a black haired male with white robes. He was...counting? While the hired help may have been unaware of the danger they were in, Belamos had a knack for sensing power. The boy before him was not nervous at all- completely neutral. He reminded him of himself in his youth. He approached the trio but as he neared time seemed to slow to a crawl as Son Goku spoke internally
"Belamos! Be careful! This man in a jinchuriki!"
The news stunned the leader, causing him to hesitate on his next step "What?! For which beast?"
"I can't tell..." The monkey lord admitted "Whichever of my Kin is locked inside him has been shut away tight. I can only feel the faintest bit of escaped chakra. Tread carefully
Belamos composed himself and continued approaching, stopping in the middle of the hallway and crossing his arms over his chest. He smiled at the man and winked at the guards, causing them to relax from their inquisition "Welcome to the Institute. What are you searching for?" It was an open question, but one by which he hoped to gleam some insight into this mans intentions. While he was hoping for the best, internally he was already sizing up how many casualties there would be if he had to fight this guy here and no 'Let's hope it doesn't come to that'
__ These two really were missing the point in the midst of all their fussing. Fate was kind to them after all, fortunately. "Hooh... Son? Interesting." The voice yet again disrupted Sandayu's train of thought with its babbling. He sharply retorted in his thoughts which seemed to be the only way of communicating with it, 'Whatever you are, shut up.' His eyes opened at the sound of approaching footsteps, if only to access the arriving reinforcements. The crimson-haired man rather effortlessly took charge of the situation, cuing the guards to stand down and to let him handle the matter. "Kogarashi's leader. I'd like a word... please." For shits and giggles he tossed a meaninglessly polite word to better his odds. His gaze momentarily shifted to the young girl in the older man's company then back to him. There was little judgment to be expressed, but a number of possible explanations came to mind. Student, subordinate, possibly even daughter were amongst his initial assumptions. Belamos chuckled and took a step towards the boy, extending his hand in an offer of welcoming "That would be me. My name is Belamos Karna. Kogarashi always opens its doors to those that know how to find us" If the boy shook his hand, good. If not, it made little difference "But my question still stands. What are you seeking here?" Using his connection to the Yonbi he would use the brief physical contact, if any, to try and piece together which Bijuu the boy held. Whichever demon was sealed was hiding well.
__ Sandayu almost felt like he was being messed with. This man, as warm and friendly as he seemed, was the leader of Kogarashi? Unless every other person he relieved of their souls for information was mistaken, he was almost sure that this organization was supposed to be a bit more on the degenerate side. He glanced down at the offered handshake and simply bowed his head partially instead. Sanda was very strictly raised and trained to be wary of such things. That lack of trust was only affirmed in the contact fuuinjutsu he knew himself. 'Overly trusting, apparently.' He thought to himself as he finished listening to Belamos. The answer was pretty easy to say, but was definitely going to require a whole lot more explanation which he didn't see fit to do from outside of closed doors. "Vengeance. That is all I seek." He could feel that this man was definitely testing him from start to wherever the finish line might await. "I am Sandayu." It was tempting to just lie from the start, but that was pointless right now. He had to determine if he could gain Kogarashi's favor or have to deal with them as potential obstacles as he sought Arashigakure's destruction. Those CORE operatives made it abundantly clear that this organization supported that hidden village rather intimately, so Sandayu wasn't going to get his hopes up anyway.

Belamos curled his fingers back in as his handshake was rejected and let his hand drop to his side. This boy was odd- it was as if he had been raised without the instruction of social etiquette. Either that or he just did not care to partake in cultural norms. Regardless, Belamos listened as he introduced himself as Sandayu and admitted that he was here seeking vengeance. Belamos joined his hands in front of his body, deeply exhaling as he thought about how he had once been of a very similar mindset 'And I succeeded. All that remains of Horace is ash in a crater somewhere' The memory of running the UHV president through brought a smile to his face "Well Sandayu, you are hardly the first person to come before me with such a goal. Follow me" As he turned and walked down the hall, Belamos created a shadow clone to stay with Kaida
"Very sorry about that, where were we?" The clone spoke to the pink haired maiden.
The real Belamo, with Sandayu in tow would take a turn at the end of the hallway and proceed in silence until the made their way to his office. He shut the door behind the boy as he entered and sat down at his desk opposite of the guest. The wall leading to the corridor was made of glass so a few onlookers passed by and glanced in but did their best to ignore the meeting of their leader. Belamos grabbed a pen and began tapping it lightly on one of his knuckles "So, Sandayu..." Belamos said, getting straight to business "...you want Vengence. I'm going to need more than that. Believe me, I understand the concept quite well. When I was your age I had fought two wars in the name of revenge. But I need to know what I am gaining if I choose to bring you into the fold" He hoped the kid respected his frankness- he didn't seem like one for flowery language and beating around the bush
__ Sandayu was completely quiet as he came to follow Belamos away from the others. That smile he had for a moment before they departed caught the boy's eye, but only in such a way that he'd noticed an interest. He hardly thought anything more of those two guards from before or the pinkish-haired girl left with the shadow clone. He stood a few paces away from Belamos at his desk, unbothered by his preference to stand rather than lower his guard with needless comforts. He wasn't here to enjoy himself, after all. "Right..." Unsure of exactly how much detail Belamos might want, he simplified his story to get to the point as soon as possible. "My clan was destroyed because they allowed their family feuding to bleed out into the world. I seek the destruction of those who killed my comrades, friends, and family." Here was where he had to put the possible deal-breaker on the table. "I am aware of Kogarashi's alliance with Arashigakure. However..." Sandayu's rather plain dark grey eyes suddenly shifted to a pale white, banded with rippling rings accompanied by a trinity of Sharingan tomoe at every other ring. Stressed veins protruded at the sides of his face behind his wild black hair as he continued to say, "I guarantee that there will be blood for blood." This was not to be misunderstood as a threat, but rather as a promise. "You, and Kogarashi, stand to gain a powerful ally if you help me. However, if that is not possible then I simply ask that Kogarashi stays out of my way." Normally, Sandayu was not much of one for words, but this was an incredibly important matter to the desperate youth. He'd not take any chances. His Rinnebyakusharingan most forthrightly displayed his delicate yet potently developed power, even if an actual demonstration was not made.

As he explained his purpose for coming here the tapping of the pen stopped. While before the boy had held his interest he now had his attention. His motivation was the exact same as the one he had when he set out on his journey a decade and a half ago. Furthermore, this boy was just as cocky. He knew that Kogarashi had ties to Arashigakure yet he still chose to come here and announce his intentions. This, combined with those eyes, showed Belamos that the youth was confident that he would survive no matter the outcome of this meeting. The Rinnegan was strong, but he had beaten it before. He was confident he could do it again.
The Sun God let a long moment of silence pass between them. He stood up and walked to the nearest window- peering out as he thought upon his response. Finally, he spoke "You remind me of myself." He turned to face the kid. As he did so the world around them seemed to fall away. All was dark for a moment before they were suddenly in the middle of a factory producing Kunai. Men and women poured raw iron from foundries. Belamos stared at a woman who was holding tongs, a woman with red hair "You would have been a baby at the time, but there used to be a group called the United Hidden Villages. One day they bombed a factory that was producing goods for their enemies- the Five Great Nations of old. It killed my mother and most of my family." The scene changed. A young Belamos was standing outside the smoking ruins of the same factory- staring at the wreckage in disbelief. The memory was still painful to recall "I wanted vengeance as well. It was a burning need. I could not have turned away from it any more than a magnet could turn away from iron. It was my destiny." He walked back to his desk and leaned against it, putting his palms down upon the glass top. Another change. The gates of Otogakure. Faces. Skully, Horace, Vivian, The Bandit Brother. "But I did not charge the gates of the Sound Village. I joined their ranks, learned who the people responsible was, even feigned friendship with some of them. And...when the time came...I obliterated them all" Now they stood in a crater. All that was left of the Sound.
As if the world blinked away they were back in his office. He would walk around his desk now and stand before the youth "Arashigakure is not perfect- it has some serious flaws. The entire system does. We are working to put a new one in place. If you will exercise patience and heed my words, I promise to aid you in your vengeance and not hold you back when the time comes"

__ The boy watched as the man stood from his seat after brief, yet deep contemplation. Sanda's left brow raised at the first sentence spoken from near the window, and he tensed for several moments when the world around him began to visually collapse and be rebuilt. He watched as the woman who remarkably resembled Belamos worked at her station in such a factory. He listened to the Kogarashi leader's story and recalled learning of similar reports of conflict in his studies. At a time, Tengakure almost joined the United Hidden Village coalition. However, his adoptive father's father realized their aims early on and sought to avoid them instead. Judging by the results of the war that ended only a few years ago, it seemed that his grandfather's choice was wise. While Belamos showed Sandayu one scene after the next he noticed that it was all strictly visual. What was more, it appeared to be some kind of advanced elemental nature rather than just some mere illusion. It was an impressive, frightening technique. However, combining the visual prowess of three of the greatest dojutsu rendered it to be a very fancy trick of light manipulated by chakra.
Refocusing on Belamos' bibliography, Sandayu was given a chance to reconsider his path. This man had lost, he had sought, and he had achieved. As he said, they were similar. The only difference was that they were at different parts of their own stories. What made them different was in their methods. Sandayu did not have it in him to sneak around with such a drastic infiltration. The Iga clan was destroyed, and every other family and individual that made up the nomadic village of Tengakure was lost with them. This was what Sanda deserved for oversimplifying things. This wasn't just a bit of family blood to be paid for by those specifically responsible. His whole village was gone. He had no home to return to. Just because Arashigakure was bigger and more established did not mean that it deserved any less as far as he was concerned. This man did deserve at least enough respect to not outright spit in his face. A test for a test. Sandayu stared down at Belamos' hand, but with more consideration this time, "I'll consider your offer. If you can tell me who is in charge of Arashigakure's CORE, obviously besides just their kage, then I may cooperate." A name alone might suffice for now. Judging by Belamos' methods, he was giving him a chance, but it seemed likely that Kogarashi's investment in Arashigakure was too much to leave a threat like him be. Sandayu's desire for blood and suffering akin to what his people were subjected to wouldn't be so easily sated. Sandayu saw that this meeting was valued more in knowing what he was up against rather than who could be rallied to his aid. Kogarashi seemed to have a goal to seek the a peaceful end after a road of reinventing the world of ninja and its flaws. He'd already seen how peace seemed to affect those since the end of the war with UHV. It was terrifying, in its own way. However, that fear lost most of its meaning to Sandayu now that he was alone. All he had was his vengeance, and himself.
