At first, I didn't mind yaoi, I just wasn't interested. I mean, I thought it was cool that some of my friends were into it, but I still preferred heterosexual pairings... but then, I started reading some yaoi out of curiousity like at the beginning of 9th grade, and I really got hooked.
What can I say? The idea of Sasuke and Naruto being paired up was really cute. That's what got me into yaoi. Now here I am, buying yaoi books from Digital Manga Publishing... man, I've never felt so naturally high in my life before, but this stuff really, really, makes me feel happy.
Who needs drugs when you got yaoi?

I was a bit creeped out at first, since I wasn't sure what to really think of it, but my friend continued to gently ease me into it until I finally warmed right up to the kissing and cuddling (stage one) and then she eased me into stage 2 (you all know what that is). If it weren't for her, I wouldn't be a shounen-ai/yaoi fan right now....and wouldn't have converted many of my other friends. X3;

I read a story with it in... I got sooo creeped out i stayed off the website for weeks.... then I went back on, and it was like, 'oh, this isnt so bad', and that was it - I was addicted.

Wow I started liking it when me and my friend started slashing Daisuke and Satoshi from DN ANGEL. Then she went and introduced me to Sukisho...which I was creeped out by until I began watching ALL the episodes, and I realized I was hooked when I started watching my current favorite anime, Papa To Kiss in the Dark. heart heart heart

My family never discriminated against being gay.
Heck, they never even talked about it, so it wasn't taboo in my eyes.
So I grew up very open minded.
And so, that lead me to finding it rather hot than creepy.
I suppose it was sort of weird at first, though.

Well, my first yaoi coupling encounter was with Suboshi and Amiboshi from Fushigi Yuugi. I was fine with kissing and stuff, but it took me a little bit to get past the incest part. I've never been a big fan of incest, unless it really really works well and is cute (Which is why I don't like the coupling in Angel Sanctuary ^^; )

Its something that I had to adjust to.
At first it was kind of creepy, I usually used yaoi doujinshi for poses I could draw to creep my freind out. I got used to it...and started to like it.

for me it started with me lthinking Kurama from yyh was a sexy beast [xD] so i looked him up on google and it had kuramaxhiei stuff i was like "EW!!!!!!!"
but then a year later i went to the library and my hand was attracted to Gravitation vol.4 i didnt know wht it was but it was like my hand wanted it!!! so in the end i read it and was like DANG~~ this stuff is awsomely hot so now i am addict and read like crazy!!!
