As Alyssia woke up, Zoe walked over to lend a helping hand.
"He's a kitchen servant, my Queen. His name is Fesle." It was difficult separating them especially since the more she pulled the tighter Lucian's grip became. After a bit more struggling the Queen was soon released. Zoe huffed tired from the work.
"Fesle brought your drink." She turned her attention back to Lucian, determined to fix him on the large bed. How come you're always unconscious? She thought frustrated and picked him up and carried him to the bed much like she did the other day. Once there she brushed off her hands,
"I'm sorry, my queen, but I'm going to research some things. Fesle, please attend to her." She left the room and headed who knows where.

Alyssia watched as Lucian was moved to the bed, listening to the words Zoe spoke. As she did so she stood from her spot and brushed off her clothes. She nodded to Zoe in thanks as the woman left, and then turned her attention to the man instead. After watching him kneel before her she accepted the chalice, gesturing for him to stand from his spot. She drank the liquid quickly, her mind sharpening as she absorbed the bloods nutrients. She returned the chalice to the tray, listening to the rest of the mans words. At his suggestion to join Lucian in bed, a look of both shame and anger crossed over her eyes. "Of course not." She scoffed at the servant. "I have more important matters to attend to." She insisted, looking towards the bed.
She was unsure how to feel about the situation that had occurred between her and Lucian. Her eyes looked to him with a new found concern, something she had not been prepared for. She found herself walking closer to the King, wanting to ensure that he was, indeed, safe. Suddenly realizing what she was doing, Alyssia shook away the strange thoughts. She turned her gaze back to the servant, not wanting to appear vulnerable. "I have not seen you here before. What is your name?" She demanded, her normal expression returning to her face as she did so.

Alyssia watched Lucian curiously as he moved in his sleep, feeling a small bit of relief as he opened his eyes. She was not prepared for the words that would follow, however. The attitude Lucian was displaying was such a contrast from his normal self and she was still trying to gauge the proper reaction to his comments. As he closed the distance between them her eyes widened in surprise. She found herself frozen in her spot, only moving when she was pulled closer to Lucian.
Alyssia watched Lucian as he slept soundly, analyzing her thoughts as she did so. She had been quite certain of her feelings towards the man at the beginning of the day, but she was becoming more uncertain as the situation progressed. It would be difficult to continue with the cold attitude she had held before, especially after allowing her vulnerable side to slip out for him.
With a sigh she accepted his embrace, allowing him to hold her in his sleep. She knew that she would not be able to trust him, but she also knew that a lot would be changed between them. She wasn't certain if he'd be able to remember what was happening when he woke up, but that didn't change the fact that she would.

A few hours passed.
Eventually, Lucian woke up.
He blinked a few times, as his eyes adjusted to his surroundings.
His room. It seems that he was sleeping in his room the past few hours. Normal-
Lucian flinched slightly, as his eyes turned to the sleeping form of Alyssia beside him.
What...is she doing here?
He frowned, confused.
The Queen had almost never stepped in his room before, and certainly would never be on his bed.
Yet, there she was, sleeping soundly as if she had no care in the world.
Peering at her sleeping face, Lucian was surprised to see an expression completely different than the ones he was used to.
The Queen was always on her guard around everyone, especially him.
But the Queen that was here with him right now...
Mine.
Lucian's hand moved instinctively toward the Queen, a strange desire to protect this girl rising within him.
He stopped his hand just in time, his eyes narrowed in disgust and confusion.
Tch.
Getting up from the bed silently, he took one last look at the Queen, before shifting to his Reaper form, floating out of the room and into his study.
