Ayanoki My parents are both bi so I get off lucky.. But my mom's husband is an a** about it. Like when they found out I wasn't straight, it was kinda funny. Paul(stepdad): Do you have a girlfriend yet? Me: No.. Paul: Why not? No cute girls at school? Me: *shrugs* dunno. Mom: *looks at Paul and laughs* Come on honey he's gay. Me: *turns red* huh? Paul: What? Mom: Yeah remember that one boy who he used to hang out with around the neighborhood? Paul: Yeah they were a couple of boys who got into too much trouble *glares at me* Me: *turns more red* uh.. Mom: Honey I saw them kissing. Me and Paul: What? Mom: I saw you Ayden *winks* Me: *almost falls over* uh.. Paul: No that boy was gay but not Ayden. *looks at me* right? Me: Uh.. *stares at table* Mom: It was cute. Paul: Honey! Me: Oh God.. I've been sitting here for the past five minutes wondering if i should put a yaoi pic on my desktop. ps: this is the yaoi pic http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g124/DUbblecoMB/Sexy.jpg

My dad's ok with me seeing like, gay people in books and irl make out. He just doesn't approve of porn. Which is cool. My MOTHER however, she's like, homophobic. She told me, if she found me drooling over gay boys, she'd kick me out of the house. *shrugs* Guess she doesn't know my brothers little secret. XD (Yes, i know i have porn in my siggy, but that's just a word i like to use in place of "excesive sex" not "hardcore mayhem sex.")

Oh, my mom found out that I liked the really light Yaoi stuff like Gravtation, (The DVD, as in most anime, the Manga's a little more hardcore) Right after she bought it too, and she's like. Mom: Hey, what's that one about? *points to DVD* Me: Uh *mentally going red* It's called Gravitation, it's a really good story. *explains the story* mom: Oh, yeah, I guess that's okay, what's that girls name? *points to Shuichi* Me: Uuuuuuuh, mom, that's a GUY, and HIS name is Shuichi Shindou. sweatdrop Mom: O_O Ooooookay then, honey. I guess if you find it okay, do you need me to watch it with you to see if it's okay? Me: *totally lying* Uh, NO. It's okay, really, I've read the Manga, there's no Sex scenes or anything suggestive in it. *mentally* xd LIAR! Mom: Oh, well, that's okay. I guess it doesn't matter as long as You don't think like that, I'm fine. (<- She's Homophobic) Me: YAY! whee Uh, I mean, thanks mom! ^_^ *almost blew her cover* My father would be in a state of shock, go into a coma, or yell at me for five hours straight. He's pretty cool otherwise though. My stepdad (Scott) Wouldn't care, like everything else concerning me. -.-; My dad's GF, would be like this: You TOO? OMG What Websites do you know? blaugh Sadly I cannot do that on account of my father. sweatdrop

Narki LE0NARD Narki They know that I'm about as straight as the Burma Road, so it should be obvious to them that I'm into yaoi. Since no one has complained yet, I suppose both my mom and dad are fine with it. I take it the Burma Road isn't too straight? ninja Allow me to demonstrate: http://www.army.mil/cmh-pg/books/wwii/70-42/burrd.JPG Ladies and gentlemen, the Burma Road. Built during WWII to make it easier for the Allies to transfer supplies and material to China in their war against the Japanese. A great feat of engineering, isn't it? YES! xd

My only family is my mother, and she doesn't even know that things such as yaoi or slash exist. Actually, I'm not sure if she even knows how much I'm into manga, because we never talk about hobbies. I don't think she cares about it, either, since I moved out a while ago and everything, and I'm certainly not hurrying to tell her. She might not be outwardly homophobic, but I've seen her react negatively to Philadelphia and Brokeback Mountain, so there is no reason for her to know that her only daughter gets turned on by the sight of two guys having making out.

My mom saw the yaoi I posted up on my desktop O_x
She wasn't too pissed, but I'd decided to put up less... exposed... pictures. She's still kinda freaked out by it but whatever floats her boat!

My dad isn't really into things like that, in fact he hates it. But he's the type of guy who accepts other's freedom of choice, so he doesn't mind so long as he can ignore it.

I'm not sure if I posted already but imma do it again. :p. So anywho I wasn't sure how my mom would react but I got kinda tired of having to hide my manga and what not so while we were out on one of our little mother daughter dinners i asked, "Mom what do you think about gay people?" at first I got the usual response, "You're not gay are you?" -__- I was like no mom but i like yaoi, she made me explain to her what that was and she was just like oh thats ok, you can like what you like if thats your preferance, I just don't want you hiding things from me. I was like WOOT!!, I even showed her Eerie Queerie ^^, she was like ok thats nice. I even sent her to the store to buy me all of Fake, woots! and now me and my yaoi loving friends can talk about it around her cause my friends mom would disown her if she knew @_@. I feel sorry for her. And also its a good thing that my parents are divorced, cause I live with my mom so now I only have to worry about her, and now I can be FREE! XDDD

Dear jesus...I hope she never goes to a Japanese restaurant and asks for Yaoi.

My parents are pretty hardcore christians so if I ever told them I'd be dead. I'm stright so they don't need to worry about, and they know that I have friends who are gay but they don't even approve of that. They're really rathe closed minded and that's sad. evil But if they ever found out I'd be dead within 5 minutes. xp Oh well, I still heart yaoi/shounen-ai.
