Totally wasn't stalking this thread before I was accepted into the guild, nope. o3o I like to see the progress of art; being an artist myself I often forget there are actually stages to this sort of thing! Haha!

Stages are very important to level up in before the boss level. Lulz as long as I follow some general steps things tend to flow much better towards a final product and it varies a little bit between artists. Some have an idea of what they want beforehand and can get straight into blocking and painting, but I still need an initial sketching session to try different designs before I settle on something I like. I have no secrets so if there's something you want me to break down and explain, I'll try my best to.

Minor updates. I thought the glove looked a bit plain so I added a little design to it and I plan on having it wrap around the sleeve as well now. Playing with visual effects for the halo. My next stop is to render in the metals that make up the four individual pieces of armor that make up the shoulder. Most of it isn't getting direct light so it shouldn't be much of a problem.

Can't say I'm not finding it fun letting my OCD run rampant and try to make things look interesting as possible.

I'm working on the sword now. I've never rendered any crystal material before so this should be interesting. Got partway through, but I'm not feeling confident about it so I'm waiting to get some feedback from one of my artist circles.
