"Not really the answer I was looking for." He said, chuckling nervously. "Was more curious about what the hex would actually do. To be honest I find it difficult to believe in things I haven't experienced first hand, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist." He said with a shrug.  

[emopunk14]

"Well the effects of a hex are all different. Just depends on the mood of the caster I guess." She ignored his nervous chuckle and continued to walk as if they had been chatting about the weather.  

[NightWerewolf]

"That's interesting." He said with a nod, jogging a little to catch up with her. "So you can actually do all that stuff, or are you just screwing with me?"

Bernadette giggled a little. "Well I guess you'll never know will you. Unless you plan to piss off a gypsy. Which I don't recommend." She looked over at to see how he reacts to that.  

[NightWerewolf]

"I could always try." He said with a little bit of a smirk. "Though after you biting me I'm not so sure." Alex looked up at the sky, actually thinking about it.

She giggled again. "I only did that because you said I wouldn't." She bit her lip, "But in all seriousness I don't advise doing it. Hexes and things aren't something to mess with. They can be dangerous and the person willing to cast them is even more so."  

[NightWerewolf]

"Okay, I won't piss you off. I think I got my answer anyways seeing as you seem to know so much about the subject. Would also explain the weird looks from the villagers." He said most of it out loud, only saying the last sentence quietly.

"They are all ignorant." she said spitefully. She sighed. "But yes its what they talk about." Her mood shift made her cold and stony, she slipped her cloak back on to hide a shiver.  

[NightWerewolf]

"I think they're just scared of something they don't understand. Hell I know nothing about it, but I trust you." He said with a nod, putting a hand on her shoulder like he had before. "Don't let them get to you. Who cares what other people think?"

"Its not me I'm worried about. My grandparents put these rumors to rest years ago, and having them brought up again won't help them. Things like this send even regulars away from the shop. All out of fear." She sighed and watched her feet as they walked.  

[NightWerewolf]

"I doubt it will make much of a difference, but I'll stop by regularly if it'll help." He shrugged unsure what to really do. "I'll help however I can, but I doubt there is much I can actually do."

"Thank you but you don't have to. I'm just hoping things will die down sooner rather then drag out." She touched his hand that was one her shoulder a moment. "We'll be alright. Honest." she did appreciate the offer though. It was probably the sweetest thing anyone has offered to do.

"I might just do it anyways. Besides, your grandmother seems to like me." He smirked and looked up, seeing the village come into view again.

"You stick around long enough she'll insist on feeding you." She said as they walked closer to the Village, fully alive now that the day has long started.

"I can live with that. I can only live off my own crappy cooking for so long you know." He said with a soft chuckle. The problem wasn't that Alex couldn't cook, it was that there were very few things that he could cook.
