I'm reading The Riyria Revelations by Michael J. Sullivan. It's pretty decent.

Does anyone else miss Harry Potter terribly?

I'm currently reading the first book to my little boy at bedtime. New fan in the making =D

I just finished Name of the Wind, and Wise Man's fear.
Some amazing fantasy that really pulled me completely and utterly into the world.

I loved Name of the Wind. I haven't read Wise Man's Fear yet, it's sitting on my bookshelf waiting. I feel the need to reread the first book before starting on the second and I haven't had time.
So. many. books. I. want. to. read.

Reading British Goblins by Wirt Sikes. Another mythology book. I'm itching to start reading my Babylonian collection.

Recently finished The Tipping Point. I disagree with the choice of the word "tip" to describe the point where a thing takes off, rather than the point where it's reached its peak and then plummets to the bottom (IE Rollercoaster).
BUT EVERYTHING ELSE IS GOLD. Can't think why I didn't read it sooner -- oh that's right, it's because everyone else was reading it at the time.

I also read The Stolen Child, about changelings living in the wild world and in man's world, and dang, that was a good book. Good writing makes all the difference to (what I consider) indifferent subject matter. People with autism might appreciate it particularly.

Since I've been sick this past week I power-read through The Hunger Games and The Night Circus.

I despised Katniss, the main character for Hunger Games. She's way too "mary-sue" for my taste. The Night Circus was very intriguing and original, I loved it x3

Next on my list are The Tiger's Wife by Tea Obreht, Swordspoint by Ellen Kushner, and Spin by Robert Charles Wilson

Oooh, I've got that on my kindle and I've been meaning to read more of it. I only read a few pages before stopping... I kind of want to do a series of fanart sketches as I go along as so much happens so quickly and I know if I read it too fast I'll just forget everything.

Currently reading Locked In (Jessica Daniel book 1) by Kerry Wilkinson. I've not gone far into the book yet, so I still don't know what to make of it.

I've just started reading Micro by Michael Crichton and Richard Preston. It makes me sad though, since it just reminds me of Crichton's death, and that he never got to finish the book. He was such a great author.
