Gravitational Molestation shrab lol ok fair enough. but yeah back then i didnt even see a competitive area of play. im probably thinking back way to far in that case though to when their were like not many cards at all. but w/e that doesnt even matter. as for the challenge lol it sounds fun. and why limit it to sets. i say if blue eyes is to proove anything then it should be proven with all cards available. i really do think blue eyes is playable. not as good as other things. but certainly playable especially with all the dragon support that exists that could help one along... i was trying to type more but my brain just kinda died on me. going to sleep now @.@ Uh, sure, we can play with the current card availability. The point of the ENTIRE CONVERSATION was that Blue Eyes was not playable in the past as EVERYONE, even Solid Snake, agreed that Blue Eyes was not playable in today's game. Whatever then. Monday I'll be available to play. i didnt exactly agree they arent playable. i said that they dont have many upsides other then the high attack power, i do believe they are still QUITE playable.

Then I amend my statement. Everyone but shrab and the delusional Solid Snake (who doesn't understand the necessity of the banned and limitation list), understands that it has no place in today's game.
At least Shrab will accept a duel challenge. Solid Snake won't ever agree to one. Mustard and I have attempted a few times.

Everyone but shrab and the delusional Solid Snake (who doesn't understand the necessity of the banned and limitation list), understands that it has no place in today's game. At least Shrab will accept a duel challenge. Solid Snake won't ever agree to one. Mustard and I have attempted a few times. must it really come back to me not understanding the need for a banned list? and the reason why i dont accept is simple, i never have my deck on me because i dont have internet at my home. i always have to go to a friends house to use internet and i dont take my deck over to my friends house cause hes not into yugioh lol. if you have YVD or something liek that we can duel. but my question is are you ok with me using my deck or would you want me to make one under the tournament regulations.....yea whatever. you know what i mean.

You DO know you can use YVD solo right? Just like if you were playing with your actual deck? You don't have to connect to anyone.
And no, we can play Traditional if you want. Don't expect to ever win though.

yea i know where youre comin from. I was in a duel the other day with classic decks and marveled at how long it took/fun it was.
by classic deck i mean the newest thing in my opponents deck was a gemeni that had 1400 atk, and like 2 koaki meru's
newest in mine was mst....
it took like an hour.
whereas with my other deck(which still kinda sucks) one of my friends used it and got lucky, and got an ftk by summoning both androsphinx and thelia with pyramid of light 1st turn, then attacking with them, then using dark hole... which summoned theinen. who then finished the job. thats not very reliable, but it was near impossible to get ftk's in the old days unless you magically got all the exodia peices or all of destiny board somehow.

I'll get to the above later. FTKs thriiiiiived at various points in the game's olden days.

i need to be more specific
i'm talking about legal ocg things for the classic ftk thing.
it took two and a half turns for the thing i was saying. theinen killed him 3rd turn.
1ast turn him 1st.
set pyramid of light, set cursed seal of the forbidden spell.
opponent set a trap and play pitch black war wolf. end turn
he activates pyramid of light and summons sphinx's. andro attacks warwolf
thelia attacks directly. then activates dark hole and summons theinen. also sets trap hole
opponent summons kasier sea horse, but it gets trap holed.
theinens effect makes him 6500 and he kills him.
i apologize for that... not an ftk. idk what i was thinking when i was writing that. got 7 tabs up XD

I read this whole thread and lawled at several different spots. I agree with.....ah hell I forgot after reading so much. Uh....whatever side GM and Mustard is on. I know they are good duelists and know what they are talking about.
As for the whole no skill nowadays, if your playing a match game (best outta three for all the simpletons who don't know what that means) those generic decks you keep complaining about, Blackwings, Six Sams, Galdiator Beasts etc. ARE EASY AS HELL TO BEAT WHEN YOU HAVE A GOOD SIDE DECK!!!!!!!! Side in the right cards, 9 out of 10 times, those decks crumble apart. The other 1 time, you are playing a good duelist who anticipated your side deck, and used their side deck to counter your side deck. Either that, or they just got lucky.
As for no originallity in today's game, that is a load of bullcrap. I run a good competitive REPTILIANNE DECK!!!!!!!!!! I will repeat my self for emphisis. REPTILIANNE DECK!!!!!!!!!! You go to a competition or even your locals and see how many reptillian decks are being played. Not many. And that's not the only deck I have. Probably about 6 others. And 4 more in construction. No originallity? Get over yourself.

ok... now that i look back on what i wrote it's retarded
What i was meaning to say is MOST of those original ftk/otk's cant be used ANYMORE, so i miss being able to use them in tourneys.
As for the blue eyes thing do you mean not playable as in relying on it? or not playable as in useless in a deck. Cause for the former i agree, the latter is crap.
