Up until now, using lightning techniques sent mediocre shocks throughout his body. Being a Hatake however, his affinity for lightning would really help him resist the power of his own raiton jutsu, especially when he used high-ranked techniques. For the next few minutes or so, Rai practiced a few of the lightning techniques he had just learned. Gradually, he grew more and more numb to the pain that his electricity imposed. Eventually, it wasn't pain anymore, but a light tickle every time he performed a raiton jutsu. After training his resistance, Rai took another break. [1/1]
[ Teikou no Kuntou (Electrical Resistance Training) ~ Learned! ]

After his break, he felt his chakra refill once more and he was ready to learn another raition tech before moving on to studying his bloodline. This final move was called 'False Darkness' and Rai felt that it would accompany his other, weaker techniques quiet well. He wanted to balance out his personal techniques by adding a more powerful one to his list. Taking a few steps forward on the packed snow, Rai formed a hand seal to help him concentrate. [1/4]
From there, Rai slowly began to gather chakra to his core or his stomach/abs. When he felt enough had gathered there, he shut his eyes and began to mold that chakra into lightning. The process stung a little more than his usual lightning techniques, but his resistance and affinity for lightning really helped him withstand the potentially horrible pain. [2/4]
Once the chakra had been molded into lightning release, Rai withheld it in his core for a short period of time. Meanwhile, he steadied his breathing and faced an open area where he saw no shinobi. Finally, he breathed in one big breath and let it all out with his next, both his breath and the potent electricity. [3/4]
A jagged, white blade of electricity shot out from his mouth and tore through the snow as it continued down and across the long field of snow. Nothing that stood in its way seemed to slow it down. Academy targets and dummies lying in the path of his lighting was ripped apart and some obstacles even incinerated. As the technique faded away, Rai's once droopy gaze widened in shock. His hands unclasped and his teal gaze studied the damage... amazing. [4/4]

After a moment of rest, Rai stood back up to his feet and rubbed his brow with his bare forearm. Although Yukigakure was freezing cold, his father's training taught Rai to endure the icy weather without breaking a sweat; thus the reason why his attire appeared more fit for autumn weather, not winter. All he wore consisted of a worn out, baggy pair of cargos, a skintight, sleeveless shirt with a collar the rose up and masked his face starting from just beneath his eyes, and another sleeveless article, his tall-collared, zipped and aerodynamic jacket.
Either way, training his clan techniques was essential for battle or like-scenarios and furthermore, it was another thing on his to-do list for today. Like I said, it was going to be a heck of a long day. Luckily, Rai made sure to get a good amount of rest between almost all techniques he had learned so far, this day. All that was left to learn was his bloodline, a few suiton jutsu and unbeknownst to him, a bukijutsu and taijutsu -those last lessons were reserved for later, however, since he hadn't yet discovered his talent in said jutsu.
Pulling out his clan scroll, Rai unraveled it and studied the few techniques on the short list. Guess it's time to unlock my past... he thought, tossing the scroll back into his compact backpack. He kept a bunch of the techniques he wanted to learn in mind and wanted to start with the very first and seemingly easiest jutsu on the scroll, 'Lighting Release: White Blade'. Simply enough, Rai ran a hand behind the small of his back and whipped out one of his personal daggers, a knuckle blade. He let his fingers slip through the holes that were considered his weapon's 'grip'. Afterward, he held the blade before his chest, elbow bent at about a 100-degree angle and began channeling his chakra into the blade. Before long, the blade of his knife glowed dimly with white electricity. Moreover, the edge of his dagger's blade appeared sharper than before, deadlier. [1/1]
[ Raiton: Shiroi Yaiba (Lightning Release: White Blade) ~ Learned! ]

After that simple technique was learned, he moved on to another clan jutsu, 'Lightning Release: Tanto Blade'. Having already read about this jutsu, Rai knew he had to increase the flow of raiton between him and his weapon. Doing just so, he noticed that his knuckle blade was beginning to glow much brighter than before, and not just its razor-edge this time but the entire weapon. Soon enough, the ivory lightning extended the length of his dagger's blade by at least half a foot. [1/2]
Not satisfied quite yet, Rai began to channel even more chakra into his weapon. A few seconds later, he noticed that the lightning imbued in his knife appeared more potent or stronger. Hence, his blade grew much brighter than ever before and Rai felt that the technique had been finally achieved. [2/2]
[ Raiton: Tanto Yaiba (Lightning Release: Tanto Blade) ~ Learned! ]

Mph... I'm starting to get behind schedule. he sadly thought. Rai stopped channeling chakra to his knuckle blade and undid his fingers from its circular grips. Twirling the weapon about one finger, he skillfully returned it to its sheathe, behind the small of his back. Almost immediately after, he hurried onto the next jutsu, 'Shiroi Chidori'. He remembered this one from his list, and it seemed much tougher than the two Hatake jutsu he had just learned. Rai was reminded of Gian or False Darkness, another technique that took a little longer to learn than most of his other ones. Luckily, this was where his talent with lightning jutsu and his determination to accomplish his promise stepped in. First, Rai raised his arm before himself, elbow bent at an angle and his palm facing up. [1/4]
Second, he began to channel lightning chakra to the palm of his open hand at a steady pace. As he forced more and more of his chakra into his palm, his fingers began to clench and grow firmer due to the growing current of electricity that led from his core, up to his shoulder, down his arm and out of his very hand. Rai's gaze sobered as he stared at his hand. Not enough~ he thought, forcing more energy into his hand. [2/4]
In a short amount of time, the mass amount of electricity in his hand began to give off an incredibly loud noise. It sounded like hundreds of birds chirping aloud and echoed through the entire school premises. Rai's hand shook violently from not being used to so much lightning gathered on a single limb of his body. Thus he placed the palm of his opposite hand down on the belly of his forearm and grasped his limb firmly. [3/4]
With his arm now steadied, the technique was allowed to grow in potency and soon enough, lightning uncontrollably poured out from it. Streams of concentrated raiton tore are the ground around Rai and melted the very snow beneath his feet, seering even into the ground in his immediate spot. Now ready, Rai finally took off and darted in a zig-zag pattern before spotting a close target. "Shiroi-" His speed was almost a blur as he sprinted towards the academy practice target and on the way there, the snow and ground underneath him deteriorated from the only the raw energy emitting from his hand. A moment later, Rai rammed his palm into its bulls-eye. "-Chidori!" About a split-second later, the entire target, although wooden and reinforced with other detailed material, shattered and exploded as his lightning coursed throughout its entire body, which was larger than Rai's own figure. Dust from the target's remains soon covered the area about him. [4/4]

After learning a few techniques from his Hatake bloodline scroll, Raiden took a nice little break. Shortly after mastering Shiroi Chidori, he had headed back within the academy and rested in an empty classroom, just laying lazily across a long desk.
Course, he wasn't allowed to rest for long. Training called once more and Rai would head out to the Dojo, where he planned on looking into a bukijutsu style that peaked his interest when they skimmed through a few, back in the academy. This style was called, 'Sobagai Deba Sentou' and it utilized use of dagger(s). After his mediocre break, Rai was off. On his way out, he took note of the man that had invited him for tea later on today, Zain. He wondered how things would turn out and what type of tea they would be drinking. Morever, Rai wondered how his girl, Mizu, was doing...

]After visiting with his parents, Jun made his way into the academy. He needed to pick up a scroll on Kugutsu techniques, and figured he would knock out some training while he was here. Heading over, he found and borrowed the scroll that he needed and found a quite place to train. Opening up the scroll, he started to look over it. "Well I guess the first thing I should do is learn to make the chakra strings." After all it only made sense. Pulling his puppet off his back, he took off the bandages and set him down. Stepping back a little bit, he started to gather chakra into his hands and then form it out into strings at the tip of his fingers. Within a few seconds, each finger had a string shooting out and attached to the back of the puppet. Twitching the fingers on his left hand, Kowai's body started to move a little. Looks like it worked. For now, Jun would get use to controlling his puppet.

[Kugutsu no Jutsu (Puppetry Technique) Learned!]
Ready, Jun lifted his left hand up a little and watched as Kowai lifted up as well. Spreading out his hands, Jun watched as Kowai's arms spread out. Jun relaxed his hand and took in a deep breath. Pulling back on the strings, Kowai flew back through the air and landed just a few feet in front of him. Pushing forward, the puppet did the same. Jun was starting to get the feel for this. Next would come the right hand.

With Jun's left hand controlling movement, his right would control the different mechanisms that were in Kowai. Mainly his senbon launcher and his hidden blades. Twitching his right hand, Kowai's mouth opened and the senbon launcher would fire off. Of course, he didn't have it loaded yet, but he would know it went off. Next would be the two hidden blades in Kowai's arm. With a flick of his wrist, the hands bent up a little bit and the blades slung out holding in place. Jun smiled a little. While he probably wasn't perfect, he got the basic feeling down.

Having left his office, the Yukikage had made his way to the academy, planning on retraining his techniques so that they were up to par. Of course when he arrived, he did notice that there was a familiar chakra already here. Once inside, he confirmed that it was one of the genin that had been in his office before, Junichi Arburame. Not paying much mind to the genin, letting him continue on with his training, Keiji went off to his own area of the academy to practice. First up to retrain would be Gale Surge.

This was one of the easier ninjutsu for Keiji to retrain, it was a matter of using his chakra to distill air around him and then release it. The air would burst out, it could stop projectiles and send opponents back five feet. Quite useful if he was caught off guard as an opponent tried to attack him. After making the appropriate hand seals, Keiji used his chakra to distill the air around him. Then he let it release in a powerful burst about him. Simple enough, it was a technique he had used before. A good enough start to another marathon of training.
[Post 2/2 Learned Gale Surge]
The next fuuton technique on the list to learn was known as Spinning Shields of Wind. It was a useful technique, utilizing the wind to spin in a rapid circular motion. This created a shield to protect himself that would also reflect projectiles and any ninjutsu under C-rank, back at the opponent. It would be a simple matter of creating the shield, he had done so plenty of times before and the shield had always worked to deflect what was thrown at him.

After going through the appropriate amount of hand seals, the Yukikage focused his chakra to manipulate the wind as he wanted. He let his chakra go, the air in the immediate area before him began to spin before him. A good sized shield of wind was formed and it was strong enough that it would certainly reflect objects back to an opponent. So far, so good, there was just one more D-rank technique for Fuuton that he had to learn and then he would have to move on to suiton techniques.

The last fuuton technique to learn that was D-rank was known as Bursting Air Pockets. Being able to manipulate the wind in a twenty meter radius of his person, the male could make the wind burst. The point not being to cause damage however, but to knock the target to the side. Doing this to an opponent would obviously throw them off balance and possibly leave them open for an attack. Useful if used right of course.

It was a matter of going through the right hand seals and focusing his chakra once more. Honestly it was rather routine to say the least, not much excitement in merely retraining the abilities he had learned long ago. Although, since he had not met much trouble on his travels, the male was a bit worried his abilities had gotten a bit rusty. Despite how much of a pain it was being, he knew he still had to get this out of the way for now. At least with for now he had retrained his chakra. With a training dummy nearby, he made the air burst out. Making it rock back and forth before it steadied to a halt.

Next would be a passive ability known as Breathing Underwater. It was really simple, since he had already learned it a long time ago, the passive technique would already be put to use if he was under water. For him to have learned it before, it was a matter of being able to separate oxygen from the water so that he could breath. It was a little something he had heard from Kirigakure and it would be useful since he had some fairly massive water chakra techniques in his arsenal.

The techniques he had in store with water, would create floods that people might actually drown in. To avoid that and to attack from below, Keiji would have to be able to breath underwater. Which was why he had learned how to breath under water awhile ago to help give him that edge. The secret was not quite well kept and thus, plenty of people could learn how to breath under water. No hand seals were required and the technique would kick in as soon as his head was under water.

The next technique to retrain was known as Water Pellet. Although it was far from being a pellet since it was about the size of a fist. It would come out so fast and with enough force that it could be as devastating as a bullet. Well, in this case more so since it was a really big bullet that was being produced and shot at the opponent. To practice this technique, he would simply take aim at a nearby training dummy.

Taking note of the nearby training dummy he had used before, Keiji made the necessary hand seals and called upon his water chakra. Water soon filled his mouth and Keiji let it all out in one burst. The fist sized amount of water shot out and headed right for the training dummy. It hit with enough force that the dummy's body cracked, some wood bending and splintering, leaving a large mark where the attack hit. Satisfied with his retraining of the technique, Keiji moved onto the next ninjutsu.

Next to learn was some more fuuton techniques, mainly the next rank up, which was C-rank. For now he would just learn two of them and then move on to B-rank techniques. At the moment he felt as if there was only so much he could retrain at the moment so he would make the most of what he had. The first technique to retrain was a fuuton technique known as the Wind Dragon technique. It would create a twenty foot long dragon made of wind that could fire concussive blasts of wind. It would fire three times before the dragon was forced to disperse.

Using the same training dummy as a target, the male went through the necessary hand seals. With the necessary amount of chakra used, a twenty foot long dragon appeared. It looked very much like a typical Chinese style dragon, with a red mane and bluish outlines. It flew around the small space, Keiji directing it towards the intended target. It fired off three rounds of air, two hitting around and one hitting dead on. Each exploding with the same force as a single exploding tag. After it let loose it's attack, it dissipated back into wind.

The next technique required that he would face an open door to the outside, since this was a suiton technique. Which of course meant he would be creating water and he did not want any water damage done to the floors of the academy. The technique he had in mind to retrain was called Violent Water Wave. As the name suggested, a strong jet of water would escape his mouth. It would of course drench the opponent and the ground, but it would also be strong enough to push the opponent back.

Having found the right door that lead outside, Keiji ran through the hand seals and focused as much chakra as necessary for the C-ranked technique. Using his water chakra, he opened his mouth as a strong jet of water was expelled from his mouth. There was a decent sized amount for the C-ranked technique, it definitely provided enough water that he could use for other suiton based techniques. The area outside of the door was a bit flooded but nothing of concern. So the male closed the door and went on to retrain more of his ninjutsu techniques.

Next on his short list of ninjutsu to learn was a Fuuton chakra based technique known as Flowing Wind Fist. It was a strong attack, wind chakra would be gathered in his fist, an amount large enough that it would create a great burst of air when let loose. Such a great amount of air condensed into his fist, when let loose, would cover an area ten time greater than the size of his own fist. It might not of seemed like much but it was pretty good when an opponent was within range and got caught in the blast.

First would be the slightly difficult part of the technique. Gathering a great amount of wind using his chakra and then condensing it to his fist. This would require a great amount of chakra control of course. This would be no problem for Keiji, as a genjutsu user and someone of the sensor class, he had a natural control over his chakra. Granted, this was not as easy as it would be retraining his genjutsu.

Now that he had the proper amount of chakra condensed in his hand, he was ready to let it go. Keiji had plenty of room to let this technique go. So aiming for the training dummy he had been using, the male moved close enough before letting loose the wind from his fist. The explosive burst of wind almost made the dummy snap in half, yet some how it managed to stay standing. Satisfied that he had retrained the technique, Keiji would prepare to learn the next ninjutsu he had in mind to learn.

Watching the other rise and bow to him once more, she produced a scroll from her person. Taking the offered scroll, Keiji opened it and looked over the plans for the new Corp. It seemed sound but there was just one problem from what he could tell. "I agree that this is necessary, Miss Yuki. I had given thought to building up Yuki's medical division and the Anbu/Oinin squad. However, the problem with this plan is that as far as I can tell, aside from you there do not seem to be any active medical shinobi, fresh from the academy or who have not reported in."
Rolling up the scroll, he held it in his right hand before continuing "Yukigakure is still in a bad way, Miss Yuki. We barely have enough genin to form two squads and only three jounin. I cannot yet approve of such a plan if there is not even enough people. However, if you can manage to find two other medical shinobi of any rank, then I will approve of this and appoint you as head of the division."
