Alex chuckled softly as he fought his tail from it wrapping around him. "Happy to hear it."

"Well, I'm going to take a shower or something." Gwen began as she backed up, running into the wall. Immediately blushing, when she realized she had made a fool out of herself. "So um, yeah. I'll just be going now..." She told him as she moved away from the wall and hurried upstairs, her face still red with embarrassment.

"Okie dokie. See you later." Alex said and laughed softly once he heard the footsteps hit the top stairs. He headed into the den and layed down on the couch.

Gwen sighed to herself before she stripped down and took a shower. Sighing, she got out and redressed herself in a teeshirt and shorts, pulling her hair up into a high ponytail. With a sigh, she began to look around the inn, merely out of boredom.

There was a small fire going in the den that Alex had set up not to long after Gwen went upstairs. He had fallen asleep on the couch, curled up a little.

Gwen continued to explore around the inn before she walked down the stairs, just to see Alex alseep on the couch. She stared at him for a moment before she smirked, sitting down on the chair opposite of him, staring at the fire now.

Alex's ear flicked when she walked in but he didn't move other than that. He was still sleeping heavily and he started to purr softly.

Gwen continued to stare at the fire until she heard this weird noise. Blinking slowly, she looked over to Alex, her ears perking at the sound of him purring. She was a bit surprised, never really hearing of a boy that could purr. But she soon remembered of his ears, which caused her to smirk. Then she got a simply evil idea. She quickly got up, sneaking around to the other side of the couch before she reached down, beginning to pet him softly, wanting him to continue to purr.

Alex smiled softly in his sleep and stretched when she begain to pet him. His purring grew a little louder and his tail flicked a little.

"My goodness, this is so precious..." Gwen muttered to herself in a silent manner. She then looked up at the fire before she moved her hand from his head and began to stroke down his face to his neck and finally down his back to his tail. It was so soft, softer than she thought it would be. And that was surprising to her.

He arched his back as her hand went down it and his tail followed her for a second before plopping back down. He rolled on to his other side, obviously not even paying attention to her.

"Aw, whose a good kitty?" Gwen then asked out loud, not really knowing if he'll answer her or not, but it was still funny enough to say. "You're a good kitty. That's right. Yes, you are." She whispered in his head as she continued to pet him, enjoying this way too much.

Alex opened his eyes and looked at her. For one reason or another he didn't mind that she was petting him. "Glad you think I'm a good kitty." He said rolling his eyes a little.

Gwen quickly looked down, blushing and mentally cursing at herself for letting something like this happen. "Ah, right. Yeah..." She said before she lifted her hand off of him, mainly from the shock that he was awoken by her and actually heard what she said.
