I managed to paint more models during the weekend while I waited for an orc player to arrive, managed to paint 7 jezzail teams, 25 plague monks (never really put any time and love into them...), globadiers, an old doomwheel (going to add more details later to it), a couple of rat swarms and more heroes.

I love the swirly effects you did on those poison wind orbs, do tell how you did that!

On the leader I do like I did on the ones on the character's, goblin green, plenty of badab black onto it, making swirls with goblin green, adding a bit of skull white in the middle of the swirls, badab black or Thrakka green wash, then some gloss varnish onto it.

The normal globes were just goblin green with a wash of badab black and gloss varnish upon that.

I'm very much tempted to get a model with a glass orb and giving it a go at recreating that effect. The perfect excuse to get a box of Empire battle wizards maybe. ninja

And yet again some more speed painted skaven characters! Hopefully some more units (and models to make my current ones bigger) will show up in a near future... a tournament is at hand and the 1st price is 2 tickets to Scotland, hotel will also be paid and the entrance to a tournament there as well in 2011, and I want to attend but my Outrider work also needs some attention... So difficult to choose...

Anyways, here they are along with a WIP picture of my chieftain/warlord (haven't decided yet).

It's a resin model I got from ebay, some Russian guy sculpted it and casted a few, I bought 4...

Honestly... I can't really say that I am, It's just more bodies to paint... gonk

But I will indeed get it (as it's going to be free)... but the thought of elves in my home makes me feel sick to be honest.

The old Doomwheel is pretty neat, actually looks like a big wheelchair when you think of it... cripple rats... xD

ANYWAYS! I got some more updates, my Warlord is painted (got a shield for him somewhere to attach to his back but I can't find it) and a not-so-serious stand in for an abomination until I can get my hands on a better one or make one myself.
