I've always been a fan of the Phoenix (even before "Harry Potter"). I even called our first band "Phoenix" because of the meaning - rebirth and everlasting life.

OMG, when it comes to mythical creatures, I have a freaking list!
Um, but among the top...
Werewolves, Vampires, Dragons (of ALL kinds), Unicorns, Pegasus, Hippocampus, Mermaids, Sirens, Chimera, Roc, Phoenix, Elves, Faeries, Gnomes, Centaurs, Griffins, Hippogriffs, and Gorgons. Again, I could go on, but those are the ones that come to the top of my mind.
