Rumors and Plants (NightWerewolf here)

"Ok." Eva grabbed the apple juice and took out two cups. She poured two glasses and handed one to him. "Here you go." She smiled. Eva put the apple juice back and sat at the table. For some reason she became lost in thought.

"Thank you." He said taking a sip then putting the cup down. He continued eating the slice of pizza until he finished it. He got up with his drink and sat down at the table across from her. He grabbed another slice of pizza. "So, do you have any more questions for me?"

Eva shook her head. "Not at the moment." She smiled. She grabbed another piece and bit into it. Eva wondered if he would continue to come back even after the house was down. She wondered if he would even start to believe the rumors. She wondered it all but didn't dare ask out loud.

Alex nodded and finished off his second slice. "So, are we gonna do upstairs tommorow?" He asked. He wanted to ask her a few questions, but didn't know how to put it.

Eva nodded. "That's the plan." She told him. Riley jumped on Alex's lap and then meowed at Eva. "What?" She asked the cat. "You can't have pizza." She chuckled.

Alex looked down and petted Riley gently. "What, do you want me to tell her something?" He whispered to the cat. He glanced at Eva and shrugged slightly.

Riley licked Alex's hand in agreement. Eva smiled. "You're such a weird cat." She told her. Riley licked his chin and Eva couldn't help but giggle. Eva put a foot on her chair and rested her hand that rested on her knee.

Alex took a breath. "If you say so." He chuckled as the cat licked him. "This may be a little blunt I suppose... But... Do you like me?"

Eva almost spat out her apple juice that she so happened to be drinking when he asked her. Riley turned on Alex's lap and looked at Eva. "This maybe blunt. But.......yes."

Alex smiled and looked at the cat. "Happy now?" He asked chuckling slightly as he looked back up to meet Eva's eyes. "Good, cause I like you too."

Riley jumped down, clearly satisfied at the two of them. Eva blushed and took another sip of her apple juice. What else was there to say? Thank you? But now even more she was glad that he was helping her with the house. Eva noticed that Riley walked out of the room and headed upstairs.
I don't know if I should kill that cat or praise her.

Alex watched as the Riley left. "So... where does that leave us?" He asked unsure about what to say to her. He leaned back and looked at the pizza but shook his head, he didn't want any more.

Eva took the pizza and put the rest in her fridge. She turned back to Alex. "I don't know. I'm as clueless as you." She shrugged. Eva sat back down on the counter.

Alex nodded slowly and chuckled. "Well put it this way. I like you, you like me." He smiled. "You think we should... you know... date or something?" He really didn't know any other way to put it.

Eva nodded. "Well, seeing as we've painted together twice, almost had a fight with my siblings, and eaten dinner together, I'd say we've already dated but I guess we could go on an actual date." She shrugged. The day had definitely been interesting.
