Ax and Terriermon walked down to the shore of the Dark Ocean not really planing on doing anything in particular. Ax then stopped and looked at Terriermon as he took a seat on the sand and looked out to the dark ocean. "Not really anything going on today huh?" Terriermon then jumped onto Ax's head and drped his ears over the sides of his head. "Na. Im board too."

Jonny had watched the young girl run off, followed closely by Gage. Keep watch was what he was told, and he would. He was an obedient little soldier, after all.

With his hands jammed deep into his pockets, Jon kicked a rock form where it was resting. It launched itself into the air, before thudding once more into the sand, several feet from where it had been. Gage and the girl had been gone for quite some time, but there was no feeling of danger, other than the entire atmosphere. Besides, Gage was strong enough to take care of himself, should the need arise.

He turned his attention back toward where they had gone, and saw something. A tamer, with a Gallantmon and a large canine digimon was approaching where Gage had dissapeared to. That was no good. He was supposed to be keeping watch, and he let a pair of giant digimon right past him.

"Hey!" Jonny began running toward the tamer, shouting and calling at him, Monodramon close on his heel. "Hey, you with the Gallantmon! Come here a second! I want to talk to you!"

Kaya petted the dragon rookie digimon with a fond smile, his cheerful attitude was a perfect match to the more somber Patamon Gage had as his other partner, and she recalled that Patamon had told her Veemon and him had become friends while she was dead, yet another reason to like the joyful little creature.
"Thank you Veemon, it is nice to see you again to"
She tried to find her balance and find footing in the wet black sand but it was slippery and she felt as if she had just run a marathon twice.
Golden eyes locked on Gage. She shook her head no
" Its not your fault that I.. disappeared, Gage. Im rather sure Nagato would have found a way to hurt either me or someone else no matter what. Im just glad that you actually followed me up to the spiral castle, and that you took care of Patamon for me while i was away"Patamon smiled,from his position on Gages shoulder
"Piedmon helped us find you, you should thank him to!"
Kaya stared at the small brown and cream coloured digimon and in just a few seconds the light in her eyes flicker and die out.. turned sad..
But she refused to cry!
"Sweetie, he´s.. gone. You saw it, Nagato destroyed him"
The air was damp and still, just like death itself. She felt cold all of a sudden remembering how Piedmon had been blasted to pieces by the other tamers digimons. She shook her head slightly. Piedmon had been like family to her, she couldn't recall how many times she had traveled from the dark pit to Spiral castle just to see him. If she was sad he had always found a way to cheer her up again with his tricks and twisted sort of humour. He had been rather mean to her in the start until she had proven her worth to him, that was understandable, he had never know humans to be nice company, being trapped in a dark dimension for several years by a chosen tamers angel digimon would do that to any person. She remembered seeing him when she had been in that dark place, was that just a dream?
She couldn't believe that he was gone..
"Stupid clown getting himself blown up like that"
Not cry, not cry, not cry, i will NOT cry in front of Gage and his digimons
Patamon wanted to say something but he felt his tamers sadness through their bond and it made HIS eyes water. Kaya tried to smile and change the subject upon seeing how her hurting affected her smallest digimon. She spoke to Gage next
"Anyways, me... dying.. was NOT your fault so dont blame yourself okay? There was nothing you could have done, he was insane"
She snorted
"If i ever see that guy Nagato again i´ll let Metamormon transform into a Greymon and let him EAT him!"

Gage gave a half forced smile, he knew Nagato was to blame, but if he hadn’t sent that monster into that crazy fit of rage then things wouldn’t have turned out this way. If Gage had never come to the digital world then perhaps none of this would have happened. But then what? Project Firewall gets shut down. Gage’s technology privileges are revoked, his devices taken. What would have become of Patamon, would they just have taken him away as well? Not to mention that Veemon would likely be an egg right now, or worse. Either way someone would have suffered.

“Someone once told me that holding back your feelings for the sake of others is a true sign of strength...” he said as he allowed Veemon to take over supporting Kaya while he reached into his Messenger Bag, “But you know what I think? I believe that it takes more courage to cry, when you know you need too.” He carefully pulled a black and white shaded Dig-egg form his bag and held it for Kaya to see, the egg was decorated with Spades, just like a playing card. “However I have a feeling that now is not the time for tears of sorrow!”

Hurricane could see that the tamer meant no harm so he put his Lance and Shield Away and stood normal now"Ah I see, I thought she was in trouble, or something.Crimson back off he's not going to fight" The Gallantmon did as he was told and Hurricane said"Mind Telling Me What your name is ? And your buddy over there?" Crescant had walked up to where Hurricane was now and was now standing next to him, standing very tall

Ronmaru watched everyone from above, awaiting nagato's oncoming attack. He knew that once nagato's digimon mutated from his digisoul ruin, that they were all in trouble.
I just hope that growlmon can get to be gallantmon in time for nagato to attack....otherwise, we'll be outnumbered.....
Ronmaru paused for a second, and looked at his arm, it had data symbols and lines seemingly burnt all over it.
And I hope that using the spectral core inside me again will finally drain it's energy...
Ronmaru's arm pulsated, and he held back his scream of agony as he started to cough up blood, it falling to the ground below.
Gage, I'm really going to give it my all to protect you, so be grateful...

(By the way, if you forgot, omega, Ronmaru has spares of his eyepieces, which are similar to yours, but they are a little more advanced in some ways, other ways they are less convienient, because he uses them by hacking into the digital server, which is not as complete as human research.)

Veemon rubbed his nose with his free hand, “That’s just the kinda guy Doc is, always helpin’ folks and making things better!” it winked at Kaya and gave a big thumbs up.

Gage looked from the egg to Angemon, who was now standing over and slightly behind Kaya. The angelic digimon only shook its head, ‘no.’ Gage returned his vision to Kaya’s hamster like digimon, “That Patamon is quite special Miss Kaya...” his attention was directed at the Black dinosaur like digimon that Patamon was currently assaulting, Gage switched on his Headset and tried to get a read off it. “Strange, I can not identify this particular Digimon. Its Digital Numerical Algorithms ((get it? DNA)) are in a state of continuous flux?” even though his equipment wasn’t able to identify this digimon he guess that it was the second digimon that Kaya often traveled with. It never seemed to be the same creature twice, but that was hardly important now. “Well now Miss Kaya, I know this location is hardly the idea picnic spot, but perhaps it would be wise to allow you to rest and regain some strength before we depart? What are your thoughts?”
