Ren smiled. "Saw through me. No need to leave. Besides, if I was attacked, I can hold my own." He thought for a second. "Touring? As in going from region to region?" Ren laughed. "I wish I had time for that. The Information Senate meetings keep my busy as is. Then there's my life outside the digital world. You have no idea how many classes I've had to skip..."
Pupumon looked at Ren and beeped a couple of times. [So sorry I take up your time.]
"Don't be! I love it here. So peaceful." He turns to Jase. "So, this place take up alot of your time?"

Jase let out a big strong hearty laugh.
"Well, considering that I've basically almost outright abandoned the real world, you could say that! I prefer to be here, only reason I ever go back is to tend to matters like legal stuff, bills, yaknow, stuff that can't be ignored. And no, I don't have a job. Paying the bill's thanks to an inheritance, so I don't need to worry about it."
Almost subconsciously, Jase reached into his satchel and pulled out another green apple, and took a very crunchy bite.
"As for touring, that's about it. Im just exploring the digital world. Seen a few fights, but not able to join em myself. After all, Im only human." As he said the last part, Dante looked down at him, recognizing the sarcasm. Dante knew full well that Jase was perfectly capable of handling himself here, rarely being intimidated by anything they came across.
"So, how are things going for you two here?", Dante asked as he shuffled to accommodate Jase's constant movements.

"Me? Hmm..." Ren said, then thought. "Well, things are good. Like I said before, the Information Senate take up most of my time. But when I do have time, Pupumon and I just like to go out do stuff. That one lake is a great place to relax, um...I forget the name." Ren paused. "As for fights...well, I've seen a few as well. But as the Information Senate being neutral and trying to "preserve" the peace of the digital world, I try and step in when I can."

Jase scowled from under the brim of his hat. "Well, I hate it when people butt in on stuff that's not their business, but at the same time, I understand the reasoning behind it, though I gotta say I still don't approve of it. To each their own, unless it disturbs others. Hopefully you stick to only stopping fights that harm those not involved?"
Jase stopped pacing, and grabbed a bag of chips out of satchel, thinking to himself thank god for high metabolisms. As he ate a nacho-flavored chip, he noticed a Meramon roaming the deserts, a good ways off, but heading this direction. Doesnt look like he sees us, we should be fine.

Ren smiled. "Not really. My job is protect the peace, and I do what I can...when I can. And as for butting in, think of it like, god I sound like a broken record, keeping the peace." He said. Ren saw Jase look towards a Meramon. "No need to worry...He doesn't see us, I'm sure we'll be fine." He pauses. "If you don't mind me asking...you eat alot..." Ren thought for a second. Wait...that wasn't a question at all...

In response to the sudden question, Jase simply replied "Well, I'm hungry a lot! Want some?" He asked, leaning the open bag of chips towards Ren, and glancing at the Pupumon to let it know it was welcome to have some, too.
Jase closed his satchel with one hand, and continued both holding the bag while grabbing a chip play keeping his hand inside the bag, fingers wide open to catch the walls of the bag so it wouldnt slip. "Truth is, it's really just a matter of two things. One, I have high metabolism, makin' me always hungry. Two, Im fidgety, incase ya couldnt tell from all the pacing, and eating is something to keep me preoccupied."
Jase glanced at the Meramon again, seeing that it was getting closer. "Aye, think the two of us could take it? I mean, if it attacks us. Otherwise, like I said before, hoping he just leaves us alone, and we will leave him alone."

Ren passed on the chips, but Pupumon, happily ate one. He had just noticed that Jase was pacing, peering at the Meramon again. Ren saw the Meramon was getting closer. Ren sighed. There's no way I can stop him from attacking the Meramon. Well, I can stop him, but not Dante. Pupumon can't do much as well. Unless I have him use that... "Do as you wish. But before you do, let me handle it." Ren said, his expression changing.

Jase turned one eye towards Ren in annoyance. "What are you doing? I asked if ya thought we would be able to handle ourselves should the need arise, not if you think we should antagonize the Meramon first."
Dante flapped his wings in anger, but otherwise stayed silent, letting Jase do the talking.

Kazuki begins to yawn, feeling sleepy again. Tanemon wakes up in Kazuki's hands and jumps on his head. He looks around to see if his Megagargomon had passed, but saw no footprints that looked like his. Instead, he sees tiny footprints and some others. Tanemon didn't understand what Kazuki was doing here. Kazuki continues to look around for his other digimon.

Tanemon jumps into Kazuki's hands as he walks. "Ta-ne-mon want to see Aman...da." Taneon then smiles in a cheerful smile. Kazuki looks at her and looks backwards. "We made it all the way here. Why do you want to go back Sakura?" "Pway wit fwiend, Amanda and Dorumon." Tanemon looks at Kazuki with a bit of sad look this time. Kazuki then sighs and feels the same way. He wanted to see Amanda again and see how she was. It would be a long way though and this would indeed be hard. Kazuki begins to walk back to Dragon Eye Lake. Tanemon was very happy as she jumps on Kazuki's head. Kazuki hopes his other digimon went back insearch of them. The two head back, but don't notice the danger going backwards.

"I'm not going to antagonize it. But if it does come any closer, I'll have to take action." He paused and look at Jase. "In a peaceful manner." Ren saw that the Meramon was approaching faster then he thought. "Alright Pupumon, time to take action."
Ren stepped forward, and so did Pupumon. Well, more like floated. "Meramon, don't come any closer, I will take action if you do." The Meramon didn't seem to care, and kept right on coming at them with a long strided pace. Ren turned to Jase."Jase-san, please step back, It would be bad if you got caught up in this attack."

On their way back to Dragon Eye Lake, Kazuki bumps into an angry Tentomon. Kazuki didn't want his Tanemon to fight the Tentomon and fled. Soon after, he bumps into an Agumon and Gabumon. The two stare at Kazuki and Tanemon. They then chase after the two. Kazuki kept bumping into other dangerous digimon and didn't want his Tanemon to fight. The trip back to Dragon Eye Lake would be dangerous then before. This was odd, very odd indeed.

Pupumon inhales, then blows out. "TOXIC BUBBLES!" Green bubbles spray out from Pupumon's mouth. They pop right in Meramon's face. The meramon seems to stop. It has a weird expression on it's face. It keeps coming.
"Frick! That didn't work!" The Meramon swings at Pupumon and Ren, they both jump back. Ren looks to Jase. "I thought I had that...heh...you can take care of this right?"
