"You might as well come in, boy, I could smell you from a mile away," Kasa called to the second neko.
Nanae giggly scornfully as she flittered around. "Wow! Either the old girl's got a good nose, or you might wanna think of taking a bath, Smelly!" With another chuckle, she turned to Kasa and asked, "So? Know what's going on? The faster we get this over with the better for me."
"Not yet I don't," Kasa muttered as she took a close look at Kane. "Hmm..." Putting her hand to his head, she closed her eyes for a moment. After a minute, she opened them and said, "Well, I can't communicate with him. He's either brain-dead or this is a curse." She gave him a little slap on the face. Then she used her long nails to p***k him on the arm. When he grimaced a little, she sighed. "Well, the good news is, he's not brain-dead. But this seems to be a curse instead. I can't help you with this; I'm not powerful enough. You're going to have to find whoever did this and get them to take it off. Until then, nothing's going to get better."

Lan shook with rage and his black wings sprouted from his back. He cried out as tendrils of dark energy swirled around his arms. "I'm gonna KILL whover did this to Kane" He said drawing his sword.

Looking calmly up at Lan, Kasa said, "Well, unless you plan to kill Kane, you should calm down. Not only are you in danger of hurting himn accidentally, but your dark energy will only strengthen the curse if you stay in this state." Kasa stood up and sighed. "Now, if you want to help him, you need to get going on any leads you can think of. And even some you can't."

Lan's breathing slowly calmed and he fell to his knees, his wings out but the energy gone. He choked and started to cry. "W-why can't I do anything right?.....I-I'm completely lost without Kane" he sobbed out as he fell back against Gatsu, his tail unknowingly twinging around his ankle.

Gatsu held him upright and lookt at kasa " cant you do anything for them?" gatsu didnt think he was that strongto hold Lan up but he was supriced that he did

Looking with pitty up at Lan, Kasa shook her head. "I'm sorry," she said, "but there is nothing more I can do. I'm not strong enough to combat this; I lost my power with age, but at least I can point you in the right direction. Try thinking back. Curses are often put in objects to keep them safe. Because he's a fallen angel Kane is too used to dark power for his own good, hence why neither of you ever sensed it, but it still got to him. You need to figure out where he may have disturbed something that wasn't ment to be touched." With a thought, Kasa said, "If you can do that, you'll almost certainly be able to find the person responsible. Just remember," she said raising a finger, "you must keep your own dark energy in check for now. That curse will only feed off of it if you give it the chance. Now, go!" she said with a wave of her hand.
"Tee hee hee! Looks like my job's done!" Turning to the boys, Nanae said, "That's right! I'm abandoning you! You're on your own now!" And with that, she disappeared into a cloud of glitter and pink light.

"I...I guess it's just us" Lan said as he turned his head to look at Gatsu. He nodded his thanks to Kasa and turned his gaze to Kane's sleeping face. "We're gonna get you out of this okay Kane" he whispered with tears in his eyes as he leaned down and kissed Kane lovingly on the lips. After breaking the kiss, he stood and walked out of the bath house with Gatsu. As he thought, he turned to the other neko and began to talk with him. "S-so how old are you gatsu?"

Gatsu smiled softly as he gently lifted Kane`s arm up to his chest since it had fallen down to hang down his side and lookt at Lan " well in human years im about 18 now..or was it 19?...oh well i had a memorylost some time ago...mm well how about you and your cute lover?" he asked swaying his tail back and fourth

Lan blushed slightly as they walked, looking at the older neko. "I-I'm 15....Kane's 16.." The patter of their shoes echoed of the walls as they walked. A red shade came to Lan's cheeks when his tail accidently brushed Gatsu's. "You'd be suprised on how much Kane and I have been through"

gatsu smirked " chocked that its so soft, ne? " gatsu asked as he lookt at his and the other neckos tail " if it feels better maybe yours should hold onto mine so i dont get lost.. and you would feel better, its like having a warm arm over your shoulder... and please do tell me what you two have been trough" gatsu said still walking forwards

Lan smiled and gave a slight blush, gently twining his tail around Gatsu's. As they continued to walk, Lan told him about how he and Kane had met, their fights and all their dedication to each other. "I-I don't know much about you....tell me some things."

gatsu listened and nodded,amased how much the two had ben trough " well thats alots!..there is a little problem tough when i dont remember sertant things.. but feel free to ask questions and ill try to answer them for you.. i can tell you that i like making food and that im alone most of the time out in woods.." gatsu said wrapping his tail around Lans to

Lan looked at Gatsu with a blush and a sad smile as Gatsu wrapped his tail around his own. "I-I used to be all alone too...till I met Kane" he said as he tail slowly brushed back and forth along gatsu's

"Nnnn..." Kane grimaced and began to sweat as another dream overcame him.
Once again, floating alone and helpless through the darkness, the air around him felt heavy, hot, and wet. 'Ugh. What is this place? It's so humid, I can barely breathe...'
As before, a great shadow loomed before him. "This is your own doing," it hissed greedily. "You brought this on yourself. Now, come to me. Bring me back what's mine!"
Kane's eyes snapped open, pale and pupil-less like pearls. rising from Lan's arms, Kane floated in the air for a moment as he looked around. Then, without a word, he zoomed off into the distance ahead of the two neko. His mind was blank. His soul was blank. He felt nothing.

Lan yelped as Kane shot from his arms. As he floated and darted away from them, Lan let go of Gatsu's tail and ran after him, motioning for the otehr neko to follow. "Kane!"
