Mister Tseng but anyways i love talking to u guys tho and sorry i've not been around. ;x; in truth i just forgot about the guild. gonk and then was complaining that there was never anyone on skype to talk to and people on dA barely speak to me and all along there was u guys here at the guild and gosh i just feel so stupid. >< * hands out cake and raises for everyone * i need to spend more time here, cuz it's rare to find people online that stick around like this, don't just talk a bit and then they're gone in a day or two. thanks so much u guys. :'3

TurkReno ok. i srsly need some schedule fixins. i forgot to take out the trash AGAIN yesterday cuz i forgot it was tuesday, and i'm falling behind on the dishes. emotion_donotwant It's 2k18, don't we have auto washing dishes for that yet? D<* makes flow chart * i need to be like, every day at x, check all the trash cans and empty them, then check to see if it's tuesday and if not, proceed to Step 2: do dishes, afterward, check guild and be sociable. scream ! I MUST STOP LETTING MY LIFE PASS ME BY. Thinking we could try to add up some spice. Maybe have a monthly theme in the guild for people to participate in, win prizes of some kind. SERVES U RIGHT FOR IT TO FAIL. * plants cherry bombs in these people's bathrooms, everyone will think reno did it * -face palm- Wow. I know I am not the most charismatic and kinda suck at keeping people's interest in the guild. I freely admit this. But yes, I do have more than one topic. Mwaha. Win for me!

but i was quite proud of this little guild still going while so many others died almost immediately. :'3 and i really feel like the only reason there isn't more people here is because gaia isn't like it was back then, wen the rp/cosplay thing was more common. seeing these old old old comments tho from back then reminds me how i used to talk/act and i'm like ah the cringe, i was so young back then.... and most older people left and u can't connect with the younger people who are still into it unless you talk and act like them so i think that's causing most of the rift for me, i think. back then i'd see people acting this way and be all "ah me too!" *talky talky talky! relate relate* and nowadays i see people talking like that and i'm like 'ah, yeah, that person is immature...." sweatdrop and well most adults are too busy to be into these things so... If I had the time I used to have back when I was in a former guild and it was thriving, I'd bring some of those concepts over to this one, and I might from time to time, if I find the time do something amusing that we did in the last one. ( which will follow along with the report I need to write up yet. )
Being an adult nerd...hm. I still don't know how to be one of those yet. XBoh gosh u posted a big reply to that too omg D: i'm used to posting casual rants on dA and people just ignore it so i wasnt' expecting anyone to pay attention gonk ♥ about the dishes, we have a dishwaster but it doesn't really get them clean so lol. no point bothering with it cuz if ur gonna wash the dishes before u wash the dishes, just wash the dishes. we tend to forget it exists unless we need to use the rack as a second drainer. xD Thinking we could try to add up some spice. Thinking our own personal runway type deal? -head scratch- ^ when elena mentioned something about people not writing real kinds of rPs withe plots and stuff i thought about maybe we should make that option available, like come up with some kind of simple idea that u can post for each day in just a couple sentences but i has a focus/goal instead of just casually putting whatever off the top of ur head, but iw asn't sure anyone would want to and then wasn't sure i have the motivation or time to bother with it myself so i just kept it to myself lolol. but yeh same thing basically, make events or something now and then for people to do until it slowly pitters off. like the wedding thing we did. and i still think if one is serious about keeping a guild active then should make use of the guild announcements. not spam people constantly but like have things happening, and then announce that a thread was made with stuff happening in it, cuz otherwise u never know what's going on in guild unless u check in person. for our guild, we just talk to each other in it, but it's technically public, and i'm like, "if some random person came and posted in this other than us i wonder if we'd ever even know that person was there lol." but like then again tho, i mean, if ur all FRIENDS, and all interested in talking to each other, then u DO come to the guild in person.... so.... it's like there's 2 kinds, "just a small of group of activelly interested mutual friends" and then more like a public setting where ppl join who don't really know u or anything, and for the latter there should be like events and "give ppl a reason to come/post" every now and then, with announcements letting them know about it. Yeah, don't get why people b***h so much about certain things. D<it doesn't matter to me much that there isn't a ton of people here, it matters to me that when i do drop in and say something, there's somebody who notices. that's better than having an active place but if u say something u get ignored cuz there's too much going on and people are too busy talking to 5 other people to remember to talk to u too, etc, i've had that happen in popular places. also with popular places there tends to be someone show up who i don't like but everyone else loves them and they become the center of everything and i get bothered by what they say, but i'm the only one uncomfortable, so it makes sense that since i have the problem i'm the one who should leave and then everyone else goes on without me and that person becomes really popular and i end up off by myself and just, it's been a while since something liek that happened, but i don't miss that kind of situation. i don't like feelng like an outsider and that tends to happen when there's too much of a group instead of just a couple of people that i actually like. lots of people = drama, when people start trying to avoid the ones they don't like but still be active and people start getting divided and things fall apart and i wish i could get along with people better and i try to but i gues si'm just too sensitive and too easily offended, and a lot of the things people like to make fun of have to do with me and it just stings. like a BIG thing people make fun of is crossdressing and trand people and mistaken gender and such and just, that hurts, but i'm the only one bothered by it cuz it's only real only for me and for everyone else who is normal it's just a silly joke so nobody takes it seriously because they don't have to deal with it in their lives. i stopped watching the nostalgia critic because he made too many gender jokes in this episodes and it was bothering me so i just watched someone else instead, then recently some big thing happened with channel awesome where everyone was leaving cuz of how badly they were treating their employees and such and it was an awkward moment for me, cuz it was like, "oh, so now all the rest of u are bothered, too." like to feel like the only one uncomfortable, then suddenly everyone else is annoyed as well, only over a different thing, i donno, it was weird for me. it also made me feel like, if someone is insensitive enough to be rude to trans people, they're gonna be rude to others as well, so.... don't hang out with people who discriminate and act rude and insensitive just cuz they're being rude to people who aren't u. one day they'll be a jerk to u as well. anyway i'm happy with the population being small around here or else it' sjust a matter of time before people show up and start joking about stuff everyone else thinks is funny and then i'm the outsider who leaves and people shrug it off cuz it doesn't matter. i like feeling like it does matter when i'm here and that maybe people actually miss me when i'm not around and so i SHOULD come visit, it's worthwhile for me to be active. i like that better. i never got to be a part of anything before and this guild is the first time i kinda felt like maybe i could be a part of the group this time. ;n;

No place is. I think the problem with that is, most are hanging out on failbook / other stupid site of similar on their phones. They forget the rest of the world exists. Most of DAs base I think moved to that other more mobile site. Instagram? -shrug-
People forget that things like this exist I think because they're too busy with their damn phones.
I usually wipe the dishes off and throw them in the dishwasher if they've been sitting in the sink for awhile. Otherwise in the dishwasher they go.

I had been making use of guild announcements, it wasn't getting us much. Think most people ignored them, or have them turned off.

I'm hoping this guild doesn't get to that state. I'd like to have a little bit more going on, just because. But I'm not complaining that there are only about 5 of us that wander in and talk to one another. Just wanting to do something a little more to keep the interest / talks is all.

In a prior FF guild though, everyone talked to everyone. We had a lot of people and a lot going on, but I don't think anyone was left out. We'd even go hang out in a specific location in towns one everyday. We might be sitting there idle awhile until someone said something or something happened, but no one was ignoring anyone.
I'll have to find some of the threads and link them over to here just for shits and kicks, though I don't know if all the old screen shots are working since photobucket took a s**t awhile back.

Crossdressing, I think there are a few ways to approach that. It CAN be done in humor, fun and good taste and for shits and kicks. I had my avatar awhile back dressed as Elena. And she decided to be me. With the lack of male items on Gaia, if on a stupid whim I want to become pretty,pretty princess sparkle Reno for no other reason than because I want to, I will. Doesn't mean I've any want to do that IRL, but doesn't mean I am hating people who also choose that way of life either. I'd expect some light teasing and jibs about it, just because I don't see Reno the character going all out and crossdressing. If the character did, would probably be funny to see. But people don't realize in history there have been many cases of crossdressing, and those people had managed to pull it off. Think there was a chick that crossdressed to be a doctor, one that crossdressed, married another, her wife of X years never realized it until the day the one that was her husband passed away. ( These were the 1900s or some s**t, but still, history proves that it's happened and for specific reasons. ) Some of those people should be frigging applauded. They lived their lives how they wanted for the reasons they wanted and no one was the wiser to anything any different other than who they were.
Well, stop going away and talk to us more, we won't have to miss you when you're away. You'll be right here with us doing stupid s**t!

ye gods! i didn't expect such a detailed reply to my casual grumping! D: WOAH... wow... NEVER underestimate mine or my muse's love of talking (<--- me, with words)"well i like this strip u did but i don't read the gay ones" u know, things like that.
but i dont' want to be like those people, so even tho this isn't *really* super important to our plot, i decided to draw it anyway, cuz i've never done something like this before, and i didn't want to be a "well i only like stuff like myself" kind of person... I'm a seamstress on the side! Sometimes I get some weird cosplay/plush requests that in no way would I have made on my own. They're challenging but the challenge is good! It's good to get out of your comfort zone, isn't it? smile "nobody will talk to u if u don't have a nice avatar." and well... i know that's unfair but well, there's text-only rp sites without avatars for that. and that's exactly where those people went. Just make a cute girl avi xD it was easier to do that xD I LOVED RP and LOVED Avi making so gaia was 100% perfect for me, but I get what you're saying. It didn't help any for the non avi rp'ers that a lot of the simple avi RP peeps turned out to be sleeze mongers (at least for me, anyway. I knew that there was a 90% chance that any basic avi PMing me was about to lay on some hintai nonsense -- not the challenge/controlled out of my comfort zone I look for) u have to really go out of ur way on purpose to look ugly cat_rofl cat_rofl cat_rofl cat_rofl now even the cheap items are pretty these days. but everyone's already gone now.... i feel like the RP + avatar thing, doesn't really mix well, but THAT'S what i liked about gaia. i liked having an avatar so u didn't have to post an image every time or show people what ur character looked like and whatever... and i liked the kinda RPs where it's like, current, like, if u put something silly on ur avatar people react to that. Yeah.... emo
so i understand why those people left but i'm not sure why the peopel who WERE into rp + avatars also left. back then cosplay avatars were hard and really expensive and u had to be really clever... now they're easy to make. i think that drove people off. but if u were in it just to impress people with ur avatar u were in it for the wrong reasons to begin with i think. but at the same time, back then, if u had a good avatar it usually meant u were serious about that character and spent a long time getting them just right, and now well anyone can do it in five minutes and change their mind tomorrow. #it'scomplicated? I feel like it's just the natural ebb and flow of things. When it was popular with the core demographics... they were young and awkward, trapped in HS or middle school. They grew up with different interests or Gaia just reminds them of other times there's no long a place for. While the core demographic grew up, Gaia didn't. Gaia also lost zOMG and the chat which was essential for a lot of people. So now it's a relic, that poor faded star who is relevant to a smaller niche group with needs subset to the larger mass of previous fans. Jokes on them though -- we have cooler clothes now xD hehein truth i just forgot about the guild. gonk HOW COULD YOU FORGET ABOUT YOUR CHILDREN??
