I just don't understand why people get so affected by events...

*She collects herself and wipes away her tears. If Officer Dougherty can't even express his feelings to her or trust her then they were doomed right from the start. Considering her past and the kind of people she's involved with, he would most likely up and abandon her anyway. She decides she better get TES his steamer and scone and deliver them to him.* Excuse me, please. *She walks into her office and into the secret passageway with a tray for TES.*
