Actually, if you could get a purple visor, that avatar would have alot of merit. Your avatars have been not as well matched as usual lately.
It's just the visor and the red thing at the waist kind of stand out. Six.

My dear Doctor Straight, what's wrong with random?
Mockingbird, I think while the kitty slippers match the white and grey theme, they throw off the tone of the rest of the avatar. I mean, the rest of it is very elegant and impressive-looking. Perhaps get some grey shoes to keep the dark flowing down the center of the avatar.
In the range of seven.

Nothing seems to be going? Do you mean you see no theme among the items, or that you see no color scheme? Or something else entirely?
Seeing at there is a fairly close black/red/white color scheme, and, well... net suit with a jester hat; it's a freaking jester, I don't see how that theme could be missed; I am going to assume you mean something else which I am simply not getting. I really want to understand what you don't like about this avatar.
Hm, yours...
Well, there's a pretty good balance in color with the light brown in the hat and the shoes, but the yukata is a different shade than the mask and the staff; the staff heads are a different color than the hat and the clogs; and in an avatar that plain, you want really good color matching.
No higher than three.

I dunno, Charlie; I like it.
The hair could match the buckle better, and a bit more black would help...
maybe if you switched the hands the parasol and the cane were in?
But yeah, red white black, crazy evil clown-thing.
