Sigur Ros.

Due to them I'm in love with Iceland.

Heard anything by Ólafur Arnalds? Someone lent me Eulogy for Evolution, and I like it a lot. It's noticeably Icelandic but is more classically inclined than Sigur Ros - perhaps less courageously avant garde, you might feel, but still an interesting comparison.

And this is where Apple's cashcow, iTunes, allows me to sample and then shamelessly buy Ólafur Arnalds. I'll post when I've listened to it.

I love Sigur Rós and like Ólafur Arnalds and Amiina. But none of them are Björk.

Never yet managed to enjoy Bjork's music. Maybe I'm listening to the wrong stuff.

Able to recommend a 'flagship tune'?

I've been accused of having far too much fun with the tagging system.

This.

I've ******** idea what it is, or how to describe it, or what language it's in, or why it's so bizarrely cut together.

One of those mysteries, I suppose..
