CuAnnan TeaDidikai Sophist Only if you want it to? lol Well, seeing as I'm not a pagan to begin with- it'd be hard to justify any claims to being a Kemetic Pagan. Quote: Saw your post in the other thread, btw. I think part of being Kemetic would imply that you actually interact with the gods. rolleyes It was just the audacity of it. "But the word G~ comes from Egyptian! And you read tea leaves and stuff... " W T F YEah, which thread is this?

maenad nuri ....We just found out that, after his deductible, my insurance covers 90% of my husbands insulin pump supplies. And a new pump. That's great!

oh, uh, back for the day or whatev
Work is awesome! I was originally very terrified, but I've actually been doing very well so far. I already have a bunch of hours, and one or two patients I see a few times a week.
I love hospice. You never know what your patient is going to be like, and I feel like the work I do is very important and has a real affect.

Home care is one of the best things that can be offered to the elderly, in my opinion anyways.

I am officially a Greek and Latin major! Well, pending processing of paperwork, but it's all in. Now, I just have to get through this semester.
Hopefully I can finish my lab report and essay but Friday so that on Saturday I can go and see my friend and e's grandmother. I had left a painting half done and e's bringing it so I can finish.

Even better that it's at the home of those you care for, rather than a "communal home for the elderly/hospital." This has nothing to do with your experience, but as for me, visiting my grandmother in one of those wretched places has tainted my conception of being old forever.

My Aunt Lue had to stay in one of those places. E's health crashed and there was no one who could look after e to the extent needed. Seeing e there was horrible, both because e went the majority of the day without human contact and because of how the sickness made e appear. Aunt Lue recently died and had been yearning for it for months up to that point.

Aunt Lue recently died and had been yearning for it for months up to that point. I can empathize with that. There was an aura of despair that permeated the place my grandmother was at. One time she even cried when we came to visit because we missed a few weeks and she was extremely lonely. I truly hope that I won't have to suffer that when my time comes.

Sophist ShadowCatSoul I would just like to wish everyone a happy Mabon. I celebrated last night and very much enjoyed myself. Hope all of you did as well. You mean everyone who celebrates it? Yes, I meant everyone who celebrates it. Thank you for correcting me, I was sort of in a hurry.

Celeblin Galadeneryn That's.... Holy ******** am so sorry. It was a head-desk moment. And I know I wouldn't have had a lot of support in my position. Hey Celeblin, do you know of a word that addresses bigotry against another religion in the same way that some terms address bigotry against gender and the like?
