I haven't started a charity yet..I'm not to that stage of gaian addiction I suppose.

zz: is that why you're always running around in your undies?

No, but it makes for a good excuse. The real reason would either be that I have no fashion sense, or that I hate shopping. I think the two might be related.

Ah.. I see. Why not just wear something cheap to keep the chill of winter off of you?

sad I'll have had the charity for a year in August.

Wow. eek I haven't even been on gaia that long.

Wait, I have been on Gaia more than Lurichan? Wow, that is kind of surprising. Of course, I have a mere fraction the posts she does...

gonk redface Perhaps I should start a Gaian Detox Program for people who've been here too long or can't afford to be on it so much, yet can't seem to give it up.

*lol* I think people who have been on that long don't want to give it up though. They have too many friends and have had too much fun to want to give up all that.

Where I have been living the winter has consisted of 60+ degree weather and fires. Not really much of a chill.

I spend a lot of time online lately. ^^* I'll have been on gaia for one full year come may.

*lol* Okay, so you're in warm places still.

Yes, I really enjoy it. It's an easy way for me to socialize. I'm very shy normally, and have a lot of social anxiety issues that are in the process of being resolved. It helps out moreso when you can find a specific place where you know you're welcome and won't be criticized for your interests or beliefs. (i.e. This guild. ^^)

Yeah, I stayed in Oklahoma. I just moved to a different part of it. I would have moved further, but I had just started the new semester, so I guess I will be staying for a while yet.

Speaking of which, I should probably go find my text books. I set them down somewhere this morning and I forget where.

^_^ I'm glad you found us. Most people here are actually very friendly, and don't worry, I know a lot of people who are shy in the real world that talk much more easily to others online. I think it's something about feeling safe and secure in the general ambiguity of talking to people online with no real pressures.

Ahh, so you aren't too far from where you were, but enough that everything is new and different.

Yeah, I thought it would be too much of a hassle to move too far right now. I had just moved a little while ago, and it can get tiresome. Besides, I kind of like this area now. I mean, mostly Oklahoma is terrible, but there are a few areas where it is nice.

A disturbing fact. Oklahoma puts more females in jail than any other state.

0o; I wonder what they do to get put in jail to begin with.

Oddly enough, I am the opposite. I find it easier to talk to people in real life than on the internet. The problem is that the opposite is not true.

I know I'm a bit more social online than IRL, but I do talk to people in real life, I"m just more guarded about what I talk about.

I have the problem of being too open. If somebody asks me a question, I almost always answer it.

As for the women in Oklahoma jails, 36% are from possession and trafficking drugs. To give a little perspective, the national average for that category is 12%.

So that says one of two things to me. Either:
1. The other court systems are too lieniant on woman and more likely to make deals
or
2. OK is full of druggies. 0o;
