Daiki didn't have as much ability to multitask as Fianna had. He couldn't keep up the conversation, his focus more on attacking in the fight. The most he could manage was a simple nod as she told him to be careful. By the time she mentioned seeing starpants around, he didn't even look over to the medicham, only noting that the psychic was present in the area. Not that he really cared too much to keep track of him. He still didn't understand any of this 'another path' thing.
Medicham, however, was busy slipping around the outskirts of the battle, searching for someone. He had his own business to attend to, and didn't see a point in fighting, even as the Darkrai stepped up in the bidoof monstrosity's place. He knew he was looking for a certain little pink pokemon.
The Zoroark however, wasn't looking his best, even as Fianna had smite the heck out of the bidoof monster. Having seen how it had swiped out at the smallest of his team mates had certainly did something to him. It wasn't quite the same level as Fi, but the dark fox growled, purple energy sparking across his fur. At first, it seemed like he was going to collapse again, but instead, he was hunched over, fur looking more wild. Even as the opponent had been taken down, the Darkrai became he next target. Daiki's golden eyes glowed as they settled on the dark legendary, not even hesitating as he used his new attack again, though it looked different. Instead of a golden orange, the orb was a deep purple, keeping that color as it burst and rained down more attacks upon the legendary.

Yep, this sucked. Already the master of nightmares was having to guard himself from a barrage of attacks. Darkrai couldn't help from letting out a yelp of pain from the hits he took and quickly tried to put some distance between himself and the various physical attackers beating him down. Not that it would do anything to keep him safe from the pokemon firing far-reaching special attacks at him, but Darkrai was more of a long-range fighter himself. With a bit of space to work with, the legend had his hands in front of him and a foul wind blew forth, threatening to smother the strange dragon pokemon that was trying to protect one of the smaller pokemon.

☆ ☆【And just like that, it seemed the first part of this final battle was over and done with… Piper watched in shock and awe as a Braixen clad in a blue scarf delivered a punishing finisher to the enormous monster, the towering beast letting out one last earth-shaking groan as it began to keel over on one side. Pokemon quickly ran to get out of the way as the defeated abomination finally fell over like a downed tree, striking the stone below with such incredible force that it left visible cracks and dents where the beast had made impact. Silence seemed to fall over the area as the thing lay there unmoving for a moment or two, before it finally began to lose its solidity and melted away into nothing but inky shadows like the pool it had initially risen from. In an instant, the nightmarish creature was gone, leaving only the army of Pokemon and Darkrai atop the peak of the mountain.
Piper could tell that Darkrai was quite scared, with his guardian now well and thoroughly defeated there was nothing left standing between him and the Pokemon army below. As much as he probably would have wanted to just head off and leave them to their own devices, the Noivern blinked as the nightmare legend instead reluctantly hovered down towards the plateau to face them. Of course it wouldn’t be that easy, really he probably would’ve been much better off surrendering and letting them all go free instead, in Piper’s opinion at least. But he seemed fairly intent on fighting from the looks of it, even though he didn’t exactly sound that confident about taking on an entire army of Pokemon all on his own. In a way, the Noivern couldn’t help but feel a bit bad for Darkrai, but still… if defeating him was the only way they’d be able to get out of here then it seemed they had very little choice on the matter. Murmuring a quiet apology, she opened her mouth, summoning forth the same bright pink energy as she had before and firing off a powerful beam towards the opposing legendary.】☆ ☆

☆ ☆【Fianna watched as her last strike finally laid the Bidoof-faced monstrosity low, the enormous titan shaking the mountain with its dying groan before it buckled and tipped over onto one side. The telltale ‘CRACK’ of shattering stone rang through the air as it hit the ground with a great impact, the beast laying there for a good few moments or so before gradually losing shape and dissipating into a pool of darkness. With the monster down for good now, the only obstacle that lay between them and their way out of here was none other than Darkrai himself. The Braixen stared hard at the legendary as he hovered high in the air above them, though it seemed like he was… shivering? As reluctant as he seemed to go up against them, nevertheless he chose to descend towards the plateau, saying that he would oppose them himself if they intended to ‘ruin this world’ further. Was… was he actually serious? Did he really intend to take on an entire platoon of Pokemon who were all eager to fight for their freedom all by himself? The fire fox sighed softly, in spite of his shaky confidence she had to admit that Darkrai had some balls to try and take on all of them on his own. Most other Pokemon would’ve surely taken the first opportunity they had to make a run for it if they knew that they were well and truly outgunned and outnumbered. Regardless, it would seem they’d have to push past Darkrai himself if they wanted to leave this place if he truly did intend to stand in their way.
Her eyes flitted over momentarily towards Medicham over yonder, the Fighting-type ducking and weaving his way around the battlefield, still looking for whatever it was he was trying to find from the looks of it. Still, now was hardly the time to really worry about what he was up to, as long as he was keeping himself relatively safe then that was well and good as far as Fianna was concerned. Right now, she needed to focus on their main enemy… Darkrai. She quickly glanced towards her teammates to take a quick status report. Xiao Lan seemed otherwise unhurt in spite of what had happened earlier, much to her relief, and Shade seemed to have stayed pretty safe for the most part. Daiki, however, didn’t seem to be looking his best as he seemed to be hunched over like a haggard old man, dark energy radiating off of him as his fur stood wildly like a feral beast that had been backed into a corner. Frowning worriedly, Fianna moved to make her way back over towards him, watching as he fired off another glowing orb like he’d done before, though it glowed a dark purple this time as it flew above Darkrai and rained down more projectiles of that same color upon the master of nightmares. She moved to fall in line beside the Zoroark, keeping a bit of a distance away to avoid any rogue sparks of energy coming off of him.
Narrowing her eyes as she looked towards Darkrai, the Braixen reached back, pulling the branch-like wand out of her fur once her fingers got a hold of it. The sparks generated by the motion set the wand alight once more, Fianna bringing it up in front of her as she exhaled through it, sending a punishing blast of searing hot air at the legendary. Tempting as it was to run up close and sock Darkrai right in the face with a well-placed Thunder Punch, the fire fox chose to hang back and attack from afar for now in favor of staying near Daiki to lend a helping hand in case he might collapse again.】☆ ☆
