⿺⿺⿻⿻⿺⿺⿻⿻⿺⿺⿻⿻ There is merely black and white, truth and lie, wrong and right ⿺⿺⿻⿻⿺⿺⿻⿻⿺⿺⿻⿻ Ikki caught that the boy was avoiding his eyes as if something would happen to him just by looking at him. Ikki found it cute, but he wasn't going to admit that. At the mention of the other being home schooled...he thought for a moment. If the other did go to his school, it would be easier for him to learn of his new world. But Ikki doubted the other would go to school with him.
When Nisuke said he wanted Ikki to meet this Hanako woman and explain the 'game' Ikki thought for a moment. Shaking his head. "Its best she doesn't know." he said although he never met anyone, it wasn't uncomon for a child to be abused by a parent if they found out about the world. Ikki parents also didn't know he was apart of this world, his grandma made it sure that the boy did mention it at all to them. ⿸⿸⿹⿹⿸⿸⿹⿹⿸⿸⿹⿹. C . O . L . O . R . L . E . S . S .

—Devoted— “Until death and beyond” Emi felt the harsh slap of irony in her face—‘BAM!’ as Youko simply asked what she could not. Involuntary, bitter laughter escaped her parted lips, ‘I should be asking, you, my sacrifice, that question instead of you asking me,’ Emi thought in a dark humor. ‘Why am I a fighter, if I can’t even do that much?’ she questioned herself, thoroughly disgusted.
Knowing that Youko was waiting for an answer, Emi responded quickly. She barely noticed the darkness that slipped into her tone. “I do know someone that would know…” she paused, “and those words mean a lot to that person. However,” She smiled a pained smile, “that person is not here at the moment. Is it important that you meet them now?” Emi found herself asking.
‘I’m sorry, I’m not ready to be the fighter you need yet,’ Emi silently apologized. ‘Please wait just a little longer. I have to sort all this out before I can be of any use to you,’ she half pleaded, half explained.

—Devoted— “Until death and beyond” "No, it doesn't have to be now, but soon. Otherwise, Sensei will be mad," Youko responded to Emi-chan.She did not want her Sensei to be mad, and she didn't want her friend to worry or be sad. Sensei would be scary when he was mad. He wouldn't let her eat, or sleep. He became a whole new person, even without the splitting. When he calms down, he turns back into his strict, yet caring self.

Ʉ r u r u•ℍ i s a k i________________
“Three s l e e p l e s s nights I passed in sounding on,
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXThrough words and things, a dim and perilous way.” ▌ ▐▌ ▐IXX a mXX S L E E P L E S S▌ ▐▌ ▐ Ururu watched with contentment as the phoenix soared over to his opponent and surrounded them with flames. He knew that his attack would connect…this fight was over.
Or so he thought.
A low growl resounded from deep within his throat. He was angry though it wasn't for the reasons that one might expect. Once again, he had been too confident and in doing so, he had let his guard down. How was he suppose to know that Verikai would have lasted this long by himself? He could't deny that the other was strong; Was he stronger than him? Well….he wasn't so sure now. If he were fighting alone without Kichi, then would he have been able to last this long? Of course he thought so in his mind…but thinking was very different from actually doing. Verikai had proven that he was strong, by fighting without his sacrifice….yet did that mean that he also proved his strength…when he fought WITH his sacrifice? It was a battle of 2 VS. 1….
He didn't know why, but he felt inferior….and he hated it.
"Verikai…." He growled in a low and dangerous voice. He hated it; absolutely hated it. The thorns cut his skin as droplets of blood seemed to cover all the bare parts of his body. Though he was covered within the bush, he could see that part the bush hovering above his, trying to block his view. So…even till the end, Verikai was holding back. How he hated it…
"Damn you…." He cursed in anger, as his eyes seemed to flash red. He wanted to see the other on the ground….he wanted Verikai on his knees…
The thorns were wrapped around his arms tight, as if to restrict him. He could hardly move without the thorns cutting even deeper into his skin.
"I'm going to defeat you…I won't let it end this way…" He growled as he used all of his strength to lift his hand and tear away from the thorns. The thorns cut deeper into his hands, leaving them covered in his own blood as the vines began to give way. "' I'm going to win.." He said, letting his anger give him the strength the tear away from the vines bounding his arms. With his pure white hair plastered onto his face by sweat and his breath coming in deep short pants, he raised a bloody and trembling hand and focused all of his anger and energy at the bush ahead of his. If he could create an attack that would shoot through the bush and head straight for Verikai without him knowing…then he would win. He was prepared to use that attack.
His lips moved to begin the move in order to say the incantation, yet he stopped at once. He felt hands hugging his torso, as if to pull him back. Looking down, his eyes widened at the force; Kichi held him tightly, his eyes full of worry.
"..Ki…chi…?" Ururu continued to stare down at the little boy, his eyes wide with surprise. It was as if he sudden movement from the boy awoke him..he was surprised at himself; Not once had he even remembered about the little boy…remembered that he was not fighting alone. Had he been so consumed in hatred…that he had forgotten what he was fighting for?
"…This battle is over." Ururu said blankly as he let down his shield down. The pressure coming from the battle field dissipated and he was finally able to see the classroom for the first time since they had entered the arena. He didn't know why, but deep down he was ashamed. Was it because of losing the battle? Or because he wasn't able to control himself? Maybe it was because he had let his anger consume him to the point where he had even forgotten about Kichi, his sacrifice? There was so much he felt ashamed about.
Without waiting for Rauko-Sensei to declare the battle over, or for Maki to look at his wounds, Ururu walked over to the ledge of the arena, jumped down, and walked out of the classroom door and down the hallway. He needed time to think and reflect on his actions. Plus he was sure that Kichi didn't want to be bothered with him. Not after he had shown such a side of him…OOC-ness: [/]☠"Tremble, and fall into a S l e e p l e s s slumber"☠

□ □ □ ↘ No end to sorrow, caused by the same endless f e a r s... ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄『Saito paid no attention to anything else around him. The only thing his eyes fell upon…was the burning form of Veriaki.
"Verikai!" Saito shouted and ran into the flames, though as he stuck a hand out to grab the other, the flames burned his hand, making him pull back quickly (like reflex) as his eyes were set on Verikai. He could see the pain in the others eyes; He knew that his fighter was hurting deeply…yet he could do nothing about it as the wall of flames separated them. Of course when they both had saw the attack coming, it had already been too late. He felt the older boy push him roughly away, and out of the path of the flames. When he was finally able to get his bearings in order, he found that he was fine…yet Verikai had been encased in a pool of flames. He could see the massive amount of burn marks forming all over the boy's body. Yet all he could do was stand there….
It seemed like an eternity before the flames subsided enough for Saito to make his way through to Verikai. "Verikai! Are you alright?!" he yelled as he ran towards the other and bent down on his knee so that he were eye level with the other. Was he alright? What a stupid question to ask. Of course he didn't look alright…yet Saito couldn't bring himself to say anything more. He honestly didn't know what he should say. For Verikai to take so much damage alone…he hated it.
He remained silent as he ripped a small piece of the hem cloth from his shirt and used it to dab some of the blood trickling from his forehead. He could tell the Verikai wasn't in any shape to fight…even if he still wanted to continue. Saito just couldn't allow it. Would he have to step it and stop the fight? Should he forfeit? Of course he didn't want to stand in his fighter's way, but he also didn't want to just stand there and watch him get beat up either without helping.
Luckily he didn't have to make a decision…
He watched as the field suddenly dispersed, bringing the classroom back into view. It was surprising that the battle was over seeing as he nor Veriaki had declared it over; which must have meant that the Sleepless team had stopped it. Turning his head, the first thing he saw was Ururu jumping down from the arena and walking towards the door. He was confused as to why the other looked…angry…yet sad? As much as he'd like to find the answer, he needed to tend to Verikai. He was sure Kichi would handle it anyway.
"The battle's over. You did a good job.." Saito smiled as he pet Verikai's head. Though he didn't show it…he felt self loathing…however, now was not the time for him to be pitying himself. 』 ⋙OOC: [/]▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

"Do you think I'd lie?" Ryoji asled, folding his arms over his chest. "Really, Shuichi-kun, I do tell the truth. You'll be trained and you'll become stronger for it, mentally and physically... if you don't become my Fighter, you'll stay a cowardly weak pathetic excuse for a living being. Do you really want that?" The Sacrifice took a few steps forward, stopping just in front of his Fighter.

Ruthless This is a ruthless world and one must be ruthless to cope with it.
Shuichi held his ground as Ryoji closed the distance between them. He wanted to take a step back, but if he did there would be a one way trip to the ground below. "I'm not weak." The fighter couldn't really confirm or deny the rest of it. Something deep within him told him that he had to obey, it would be easier on him if he would submit. The mocking voice in his head was oddly silent about what his Sacrifice was saying. The pink haired student studied the other student for a long moment, then sighed, the longer they stood out in the rain the easier it would be for them to take ill. He wasn't really sure what all this 'training' was about, but. . . well, it couldn't hurt any. "Fine. I'll try it your way."

Smirking slightly, Ryoji nodded. "Then we start today after school. You're to meet me at the front gate and we'll go to my apartment. Also, I'll be treating you to dinner so I do hope you're not a picky eater." Turning on one heel, the Sacrifice made as if to leave. But then he glanced back at his Fighter. "You belong to me, Shuichi. Like it or not... we've a bond that must not be severed."
(((OOC: So.... is school over or are they still in school for the day or what? I'm kinda confused on all this...)))

Shuichi nodded once but the look on his face still showed his resentment at the thought of belonging to anyone. "As long as it's edible, I'm not picky." That wasn't really what he'd intended to say but it was the best he could come up with.

—Devoted— “Until death and beyond” “It doesn’t have to be now—” Those words were such a relief to Emi. She wasn’t sure what she would have done, if Youko had demanded to speak to her fighter, right then and there. Maybe imploded? However, the key to Youko’s sentence, had been the word ‘soon’. Emi kept her plastered smile on, “Good, then you can meet them after your last class,” she replied, re-finding her cheery voice. ‘I’ve just bought myself a little more time,’ Emi consoled herself inwardly, ‘Now, I’ve got to find Youko’s fighter in me…’
The rest of the lunch period, Emi talked little, only answering when necessary to keep up the charade of being interested in Youko’s conversation. As soon as the clock showed that it was time for their next class, Emi hurriedly gathered her things and reassessed how plausible her excuse would sound. Watching Youko look at her expectantly, Emi told her lie. “Um, I forgot something in the General Science classroom. Michika, the girl in the red dress,” she pointed out to Youko, “can show you to our Japanese History class. I’ll meet up with you there. If I’m late, could you please save me a seat?” Emi finished, and then, dashed out of the lunch room. She wasn’t going to give Youko the option of coming along with her. ‘Right now,’ she thought, ‘I need time and space alone.’ ((@ Nil: Nope, school still isn't over. I think it's still morning. The rpg is very slow moving lol~
@ Wiccan: Waiting for Akuma too.
@ Ani: What math class is Youko taking?

(@ Kash-chan: Trigonoemetry/Elemental Statistics)
Youko was happy throughout lunch and it seemed her friend was happier now too. Soon, she would find the person Sensei had told her to find. She felt kind of sad when lunch was over, and she'd have to go to another class she knew all the answers to, but at least Emi-chan would be in there with her.
When she heard the comment about might be late and to rely on Michika, she became slightly sad, but decided there was nothing that could be done about it. SHe would just meet Emi-chan when she arrived. Hopefully, it wouldn't take too long to find her things. She was already feeling...'connected' to Emi-chan, but she didn't know why...
"Ok, Emi-chan," she said smiling.
