So here's a question. Who here actually plays 40k exclusively, versus playing more than one tabletop game?
Alas, my 40k has completely dropped off the map in favor of other things. I had a bad experience trying to get back into my old WH40K group (as described in more detail earlier in the thread), and my schedule doesn't match any of the other groups in the area. I was running a 5e D&D game for a while at my local game store, as part of the Adventure League, but I got disillusioned with the rule system and the inability to kick any of the players out of the group (they were paying customers, and I had no authority: I just set up the miniatures and ran the encounters) and eventually dropped out.
I do, however, run a Pathfinder game every Sunday. The party has been going for almost 3 years and is effectively epic tier. Things get pretty crazy (as they're wont to at that level) and I'm having fun applying everything I know about the Dark Eldar to the drow and making my players forget that Drizz't is a thing. They're nearing the end of the campaign, and I'm undecided if I'll fill my Sundays with more games (like Deathwatch) or actually relax. Choices...
